Babin is awful quits on plays and doesnt perform anymore he is a one trick pony ..At 32 his career is finishing up ..With Ray Edwards being released today from Falcons at 27 years of age just needs a fresh start somewhere were they will let him just get after the QB he never fit the Falcons Scheme ..

Precisely, because playing the run is absolutely not one of the things a DE should be judged on.  Sacks only, thank you.

Do people even know why the Falcons cut Edwards? With threads like this apparently not. Underwhelmed since signing that contract, was almost always hurt, and just wasn't worth the roster spot anymore. People need to do some research before speaking on subjects like this. If they sign him to a nice sized contract but cut him halfway through the 2nd year, there's a reason for that happening.

Maybe scrap the wide 9 and then analyze performance. Teams can adapt to our schemes.

Babin, for as bad as he's been, at least still gets consistent pressure on the passer even if they haven't equated to sacks.

Trent Cole has been nearly invisible this year.

I think we need to load up on draft picks...thIs team went downhill when we loaded up on shiny free agents...we need to build within...I'm happy shipping babin out. Graham, hunt curry could give us what babin has or even more.
