I bet there hasn't been a single regime change in the history of the NFL that has taken a bottom-feeder to contention in less than 7 years.

Damn, that's even worse that I thought. I guess all of the making fun of the Deadskins, Cowgirls and all of the other cellar Dwellers has come back to haunt us. Can't win for losing.

Wait, does this mean we're blaming Obama for the Eagles' poor performance?

Oh no, not a chance. Just upset about what's to come in the future for the Eagles. Normally you can't wait until the new season starts so you can get your cheer on. But now what's the use of looking forward to the next season and it's going to be a losing one. Sure they'll continue to get my support but, I can't say., I can't wait for the next losing season so that they can get them out the way. Can't win for losing. Boy we sure are going to get picked on. And then add in the empty trophy case for MORE years.

Focus your talents on winning the lottery repeatedly and then buy the team so you can run it yourself.

Four years? SEVEN years?!?!
What have you two been smoking, or are you just not fans of the NFL??
Look at the 49ers this year. Remember when Gruden took the Bucs who couldn't go deep in the playoffs, and won the SB in ONE year?(nt that I want Gruden here...
The NFL with it's draft and free agency is the single FASTEST league to turn a team around in. We DO have some young talents. Get a GM who can bring in quality draft choices and FA's that complement them, a coach that leads to our strengths(maybe a run 1st offense for once?), and we can start the climb next year, and be in contention in 2014. We may have a qb in town already that can be a "game manager" for us in Foles or Edwards. If the new GM/HC's don't see it that way, an adequate qb could probably be found in free agency next year or 2014.
This is the year we know we haven't had a qb. Next year? who knows? Our next guy may not even be on the roster right now.

Once the 49'rs dumped their teribble coach after three losing seasons and hired Harbaugh they went 13-3, earned a second seed and made it to the NFCCG.

Concentrate on both lines this year. We have a little talent on both. Dump the under sized guys, and draft and pick up FA's there. Let Foles and Edwards try to sort it out in the mean time. If neither shows and real promise, look FA or draft in 2014 for a qb.

A lot will depend on if Foles develops into a solid QB quickly.

Vermeils rebuild after decades of frustration,
Buddy's rebuild after the swamp fox,
Rhodes rebuild after Kotex,
Reid's rebuild after Rhodes.
Hopefully, this is the rebuild that actually yeild's results.
