Everyone knows that Andy Reid will be gone at the end iof the season and that's to no one's surprise,   And who the next HC is going to be., no one knows.  The problem is,  it's going to take a long time for the Eagles to get back into the winning side of things and the good skill players will be getting older.  I know most of them are very young, but after awhile things change. Maybe four years before things start looking up.  Damn,  with all of that talent I thought things were going to be so good for the Eagles.  Peterson goes down then the Starting O-line injured,  now bringing in a new HC damn,  Can't win for losing.  :nonono:

Four years until things start looking up?

I bet there hasn't been a single regime change in the history of the NFL that has taken a bottom-feeder to contention in less than 7 years.

a few tweaks, add some O-line power, add one awesome safety, add some depth, better in game coaching, could be a year away, not that far as you believe...

Damn,  that's even worse that I thought.  I guess all of the making fun of the Deadskins, Cowgirls and all of the other cellar Dwellers has come back to haunt us.  Can't win for losing.

Wait, does this mean we're blaming Obama for the Eagles' poor performance?

Okay, just wanted to make sure the Eagles hadn't turned into some evil, Socialist team that wanted to kill corporations and make Christianity illegal.

Oh no, not a chance.  Just upset about what's to come in the future for the Eagles.  Normally you can't wait until the new season starts so you can get your cheer on. But now what's the use of looking forward to the next season and it's going to be a losing one.  Sure they'll continue to get my support but, I can't say., I can't wait for the next losing season so that they can get them out the way.  Can't win for losing.  Boy we sure are going to get picked on.  And then add in the empty trophy case for MORE years.   :nonono:

Focus your talents on winning the lottery repeatedly and then buy the team so you can run it yourself.

this team has some talent on it. . .if the hew HC has any idea how to game plan around his players strengths and weaknesses than the opposite that AR has been trying I don't think it will take all that long.  Maybe a couple depending how badly they purge the roster.

The 1998 Eagles won 3 games, two years later they won 10 games and were division champs.

Four years?  SEVEN years?!?!

What have you two been smoking, or are you just not fans of the NFL??

Look at the 49ers this year. Remember when Gruden took the Bucs who couldn't go deep in the playoffs, and won the SB in ONE year?(nt that I want Gruden here... )

The NFL with it's draft and free agency is the single FASTEST league to turn a team around in. We DO have some young talents. Get a GM who can bring in quality draft choices and FA's that complement them, a coach that leads to our strengths(maybe a run 1st offense for once?), and we can start the climb next year, and be in contention in 2014. We may have a qb in town already that can be a "game manager" for us in Foles or Edwards. If the new GM/HC's don't see it that way, an adequate qb could probably be found in free agency next year or 2014.

This is the year we know we haven't had a qb. Next year? who knows? Our next guy may not even be on the roster right now.

Once the 49'rs dumped their teribble coach after three losing seasons and hired Harbaugh they went 13-3, earned a second seed and made it to the NFCCG.

What about the QB and the Defensive Line? They are the most critical parts to sucess.

Tried and tru philosophy...Outstanding dline, run first with competent qb.

AR is upside down so turning it over will take longer.

Concentrate on both lines this year. We have a little talent on both. Dump the under sized guys, and draft and pick up FA's there. Let Foles and Edwards try to sort it out in the mean time. If neither shows and real promise, look FA or draft in 2014 for a qb.

With what we have as a base of players to work with, and in today's NFL of free agency and player changes, I really think we can be back near the top in a couple years.

A lot will depend on if Foles develops into a solid QB quickly.

Plus, if you're actually a fan of football, watching a good rebuild might be as rewarding as watching the finished product win a title. I say might, as so far I've only see a few good rebuilds, and never seen a title.

Vermeils rebuild after decades of frustration,

Buddy's rebuild after the swamp fox,

Rhodes rebuild after Kotex,

Reid's rebuild after Rhodes.

Hopefully, this is the rebuild that actually yeild's results.
