Have the horses broken their reins?

Is the luggage just doing circles on the belt at baggage claim?

I could create more analogies to lighten the mood if it didn't hurt so damn much.

Please tell me that I'm wrong about sensing a "going through the motions," mode with the team.

Relax.    It's simply time for a change, my friend.        Nothing more and nothing less.

Actually, it's way past time for a change.

If anybody "goes through the motions," they lose a paycheck. That's how I have always seen it. There are, however, varying degrees of urgency. I haven't see a ton of urgency from this team in two seasons, to be honest.

Wow.

That is about as blatant an indictment of this coach as I've seen from you.

The end may be nearer than anyone thought.............

Dave,

Neither have we.......some of us for longer than two seasons, but the last two have been the worst.

Dave must be allowed to start the process of hanging Reid out to dry!

Long overdue my friend...... You have a great job no doubt but at times it must have gotten real painful over the last 5-6 years to defend this regime.

Arrogant-Self Absorbed- Smugness that has permeated from Nova Care and the Linc over the last 10 years.

For some reason, everyone assumes that Dave feels the same way as we do.       He's been there way too long, and can hardly be referred to as a 'fan'.

If Dave has proven one thing, it is that he steadfastly and earnestly believes in whatever the company line is.     Period.

This doesn't make him a bad person, just a pragmatist, which anyone with a brain would be in his spot.

You don't follow a team since 87' and spit on the Dallas star unless you are passionate.
There would be transference regardless of context for that amount of time.
This is about more than punching a clock for Dave.

I completely disagree.

Dave has a job to do and, while, he doesn't have to earnestly believe what the company line is ... he does have to sell it.  For obvious reasons, he is unable to share his personal feelings when they don't mesh with the company line.  But I believe that he is a very passionate fan and, having met him in person a few times at various Eagles functions, I can attest that he is pretty candid when he is not in a public forum.

I'll never understand why some fans ask him questions that he obviously cannot answer & then get angry at him when he can't.

I guess I stand corrected, and totally agree with the last statement.      It is fun when you can read between the lines of some of his comments - he's now saying things about the Eagles lack of effort he never would have previous seasons, leading one to believe that the time for change is quickly approaching.
