Out of the names listed, which intrigues you the most? Or maybe which are you interested in knowing more about?
I went ahead and listed the Top 25 as well as a couple others. I watch College ball, but not like I do NFL. I usually just catch 2-3 games a weekend. So with that being said I dont know alot of these coaches track records or what their about.
Heres what I do know:
Bill Snyder, Mack Brown, and Steve Spurrier are too old IMO.
Spurrier, Kiffin, Saban, and Mora Have all tried and failed in the NFL.
Les Miles is a liar, sell out, and a prhick.
I like Bill O'Brien at Penn State for alot of reasons:
1) He fielded at team at Penn State
2) Already has ties within the State.
3) Shown he can win when all odds are against him and his team
If you can take a team no one wants right after the biggest scandal in NCAA history and despite key players leaving, make them relevant...Then you should be a coaching candidate in my eyes.
I know Chip Kelly is a popular choice, but I think after seeing it 14 years with Reid, Im done with the spread offense. Kelly may be an offensive guru, but he is a weak conference.

I admire the job O'Brian has done as well. Hard not to like. Don't see him wanting to leave
after just being hired there. Nor do I see the collage wanting to let him go. Given that he has
made them competititve under current conditions. Is restoring their football programs image.
Especially with the sanctions they will be playing under for the next 4 yrs.

Ideally you'd take a guy like O'Brien who has coached in the nfl. Guys who have no nfl ties don't have a good history. I agree O'Brien isn't likely to leave. Never liked Mora or Kiffin. Don't know the background of many of the others

Guys like Dan Mullen, David Shaw, Charlie Strong or Bret Bielema are guys that may have more success in the NFL than they would in college. They run that tough nose, power style of football that struggles at college.
Any of those four would be on my list. Chris Peterson has always stood out to me as well. I would be interested to see how he would do at the pro level. The guy is Sean Peyton like in terms of his creativity.

I agree completely. It's not like it used to be. However, I'd still argue that even the "spread" like teams (Patriots, Falcons, etc) are more power/pro style than 90% of what you see in college.

Winston Moss
Ray Horton
Gus Bradley
Those are defensive minded coaches, something we need restored in Philly, I think a fresher approach on offense without the WCO should be addressed too, and we have talent on offense other than OL,<--- that can be fixed though
