Nothing going on now is any different than it has been since 2004 - bad drafts, erratic and many times desperate free agent signings, arrogance and a tin ear throughout the entire organization, badly flawed schemes, reckless coordinator hires, the same hideous game day coaching, and on and on.
Think about it - take away the uncharacteristic (and glorious) Garcia run in 2006, the final day luck in 2008, and Vick's brief 2010 streak, and what do you really have since we appeared in Jacksonville? Eight years of mediocrity. Dress it up any way you want, but the record speaks for itself, and all the signs were there for all to see, if they chose to.
The door should have been shown to Reid, along with McNabb, after 2007, when it was crystal clear that he had run out of ideas, and his way had proven beyond any doubt that it was not a plan that could win a championship.
We would have been five years removed from the stench of this group - who knows what great things might have been achieved here during that stretch? We only know one thing with absolute certainty - the trophy case would have no fewer Lombardi trophies than it currently does.

1st and 10, Foles throws for 7 yards and gets decked by Ware. 2 and 3, your rookie QB is dusting himself off and you have Shady in the backfield. Can you guess what the next play call was?

My point wasn't the run/pass ratio my point was Marty continuing to proclaim a bunch of catch phrase crap about run / pass ratios thinking the fans are idiots and have any faith in what he says or does about it and then never changing the way they do things when those have now failed miserably for 2 years

"As far as volume, we talked several times already," Mornhinweg said. "There are certain things he can do very, very well. Certainly, we'll play to his strengths. What we think are his strengths, and what his strengths are."

I'm consistently surprised when people place blame on Morningwood. I mean, he's probably not pounding the table for a 50/50 offense (and almost no offensive coordinator would), but his play calling has been relatively balanced compared to what we've seen in the past. He's going to move on when Reid is fired in a few weeks, but he's a loyal soldier and an extension of Reid. What he does on offense is what he's been instructed to do. What he says in his press conferences is a boilerplate defense of Reid's philosophy. He's running Reid's offense roughly how Reid wants him to run it.
I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'm pretty certain they've run the ball more since Marty has been calling plays than they typically did under Reid.
