This is a must lose game for both teamsredskins

What we don't need now is the Eagles offense to have a balanced attack and the defense to tackle. If there is a time for Boykin to bust some nice returns, now is not the time. Please not another late season push. Please, please, please. Let this nightmare end quietly.

With that king's ransom they gave to trade up for RG3, the Skins probably could have won 3 more games and still gotten him.

I called Marty last night, and he's got a ton of ways to outsmart Shanahan.
One idea I really liked was this new look he's trying at RB. It's a good thing we kept four HB's on the roster, because, he plans on pulling an M. Night Shyamalan-sized swerve on the D inside the red zone.
Now, since Redskins fans and players aren't intelligent enough to read, I'll just spill the beans right here: 3rd and goal, 1 yard line. Jackson and Maclin line up at TE, one on each side. Harbor and Havili split out wide. Now, for the kicker, none other than JON DORENBOS is standing about 12 yards behind Nick Foles. Foles does a 14-step drop while Maclin and Jackson assist in blocking the blitzing LB's. Havili runs a fade, Harbor simply turns around at the 1. But wait, it's a DRAW PLAY! Dorenbos grabs the pigskin and races towards the goal line, which is no doubt more porous than a guy's face on prom night, thanks to the above-average blocking ability of our line and WR's.
But wait! THERE'S MORE! You think Dorenbos is selfish? Dude, he's the LS. He LONGSNAPS THE BALL BACK TO FOLES in what will be the coolest ever Flea Flicker, and Foles throws a bullet TD to Dennis Kelly, who is eligible, and played WR for a couple games in middle school.
The celebration? Dorenbos pulls a Lombardi Trophy out of his helmet.
Eagles win 62-0.

Yeah, was my point. Lost on him though.

Not much incentive for them to lose
Eagles on the other hand....

so you would rather lose to a divison rival with the season far from over just to seal andy reid's fate than watch the team go on a run because it might possibly lead to reid deservingly keeping his job? I'm not saying I want to keep reid but i would rather watch this team play with fire and emotion rather than go through the motions. If Reid misses the playoffs and the team continues to stink it up i certainly think his time has run its coarse. If the ship rights itself as reid lead teams usually do that would pretty much disprove the theory that he lost the lockeroom don't ya think?

Hopefully, Fole is the best difference-maker since Asante Samuels.

I'm more concerned....actually I'm really only concerned, with what Jeffrey Lurie will do about the GM position....the real GM position......and if his solution is Howie Roseman.....then I know he's no better than Norman Braman. At that point, I'll just hope he sells the team.....to someone who will genuinely care about the fate of the Philadelphia Eagles, and who will have the means and the drive to build a championship franchise.
