Optimistic?
Somber?

Do the guys feel like the fans, where most know the end is near?  Or do they legitimately think they still have a season to play for?

According to DRC they're still "the most talented team in the NFL." And if you can find him anywhere I'm sure Trent Cole will tell you they still have "the best damn DL in the f***ing NFL."

Every employee of that Organization should be embarrassed to show up for work.... you work for an Organization of quitters, under achievers and excuse makers and an owner who is a deer in the headlights, in hiding from the Public.

The next 3 home games will let everyone within the Organization what the fan base thinks of the Organozations "efforts". Monday night vs the Panthers should give every Eagles employee pause for embarassment in front of a Natl TV audience.

Maybe now the smugness and arrogance that permeates from NOva Care will finally start to subside now that our "team" has clearly sunk to the bottom 5 of the NFL.

4 points from being 0-10 and now have been outscored by over 90 points in 10 games.

This team is "Braman/Kotite- esque".... an embarassment and soon to be laughingstock.

If Reid cared even a little about an organization that kept him (and paid him handsomely) five years beyond his expiration date, he would resign today, and allow the organization to move forward and prepare for a new era.      I would certainly gain back at least a bit of respect for a guy I lost it completely for years ago.

Obviously, Lurie should make a move before what will otherwise be a very embarrassing prime time appearance next week, but after all the rope that Lurie gave Reid here, the least he can do to repay him in some small way is to take him off the hook, and the sooner the better.

Having said that, I expect Reid to hang on until the bitter end, and force Lurie's hand.       I hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect to be.

I truly have learned a lesson on the whole mass influx of outside talent that we've all been craving and clamoring for for years. (FA) free agents have all been a bust. Except for Ryans I do like him!  I think we should go back to what's worked.  This has been a major slap in the face.

The mood is disappointment, obviously. Everyone is upset. We all came into the year with high hopes. There is no choice but to keep working hard and hoping for the best. That's the way it works in this league.

I would say the mood is to clean house. It started with Joe Banner, then Juan, now the PR director, it will be a total sweep, top to bottom in January/February.

5-11 is a disaster. That's where we are headed. Oddly - we are lucky to get that. The Browns had us, the Ravens had us and the Giants had a PI to make a FG longer and a miss. We quite easily could be winless. It's so defies logic.
