There are a lot of similar things, and a lot of differences but this team has lost four of their last five games.

Norv is on the verge of being canned.

Rivers has looked awful

If anything they have lost a LOT of their talent in the past 2 years.

If it wasn't for the fact vick getting hurt. (at some point this was most likely going to happen).

I think it's just odd a couple franchises this year are literally falling apart. Next year The eagles could be going though even more changes, but at some point we need to stick with our changes and ride some of them outr, otherwise we won't be accomplishing anything.

Yeah Phillip Rivers got booed a few weeks back. Chargers fans are PO'd and the media over there is killing them so there are some resemblences.

And we both are ringless.

Similar coaching styles. Neither coach has the balls to be a head coach.

I am interested barring any serious miracles by the end of the season what franchise is willing to do the big changes. I like andy, but I think every franchise hits the point where this isn't working and we need to start off fresh. It's hard to cope with because for the past 10 years we were always involved in the playoffs and we got close. Now we have gotten so close to the bottom of the hill the need for something new to spark everyone is beyond needed. The sad part is we arnt the only franchise looking to dismantle at this point.

All I can say is I don't want to end up as one of those teams who switches QB's every other game. This team need to put in a plan stick with it and ride it out. We can cry and complain all season long, it's obvious things are bad at this point. We are going to find out how stable our team really is. All the way from the front office, down to the coaches and players.

Either way we all realize something needs to change, because what is happening right now is nothing more than a joke.

The Eagles and Chargers are the same team. A ton of talent on paper, ans utterly unable to get the job done. They make the playoffs just enough to keep the fans hoping, but fail to deliver.

Ever since the 2007 AFC Championship the Chargers have gone downhill. I don't know what it is but that team just hasn't been the same. They showed promise in that season but since then they just couldn't put together a complete season. Norv truly isn't head coaching material and I don't know how he keeps getting head coaching jobs, even though I thought he was a lock for the Dallas job.

Damn, I wish he took the Dallas job.

Philip Rivers leads the league in turnovers since the beginning of the 2011 season with 40. That's not a typo...Forty!

Whitehurst will still never sniff the field.

Jesus is this post stupid. Phillip Rivers is about on the same level as Vick. I'm not sure if you just dont watch a lot of Chargers games, if you are judging him on his past success or if you're just assuming that because he's a white pocket QB, he would be some kind of upgrade. If Rivers was playing in NY right now (like he was meant to be), he would be getting smoked by the national media.

Over the last few years,I've always thought the chargers and Eagles have had a lot in common.

Questionable at QB
Bad coaching
make PO every year and lose/can't get over the hump
Highly inconsistent

the main thing they both have in common is they were good organizations that didn't get it done in their window. All teams lose players through the years and sometimes they just aren't adequately replaced. Look at us..we lose westbrook and gain shady....thats actually a positive. But vick is no mcnabb, and allen/coleman together don't equal one dawkins. ryan matthews and ronnie brown aren't lt and darren sproles. malcom floyd is no vincent jackson. The chargers will still win that pathetic excuse for a division. Will we win ours?

you are correct. i forgot about the return of the great petyon manning. they could still snub out a wild card in that pathetic excuse for a conference.

Rivers - 40 Turnovers :o

Eagles have a front office that makes poor decisions & Chargers have a QB that makes poor decisions, end result is both are under achieving!
