We know you have a job to be pro eagle however lets cut to reality. This is the worst team in the NFL.Alabama,Georgia,ND,Florida will beat this team.We have scrubs who are collecting a paycheck.Pathetic display of professional football.NO heart. No emotion. No pride. They are only collecting a paycheck. This is contributed by poor coaching and player pride. The entire tteam needs an overhaul,New coaching staff and cut the whole team except Mcoy,Peters,Ken****,Cox and Curry.

So do you think the Birds would look at a Chip Kelly from Oregon if he decides to come out of the college ranks? I hear he may be the most desirable candidate out there next year.

Obviously, anyone but Reid will be OK, but I wouldn't want either of those two. Kelly coaches a gimmick college offense, and I think we've seen enough of that here. And while I like Gruden, I'd prefer not to bring in any retreads who will be looking to 'win now' at any cost. We've seen the result of that approach the last two years.
I'd want Lurie to first bring in a real football guy as a GM, then make a coaching hire just as he did his first two, finding a sharp, aggressive assistant coach, preferably on the defensive side.
Let's not get caught up in big names.

Chip Kellly is not the answer as well.Would rather have a Defensive minded coach who's philosophy will add size, strength and speed to our Dline.

Always one of the most ridiculous comparisons a person can make. Officials would invoke a mercy rule 5 minutes in to the game if any pro team played any college team. The talent, size and speed of the players and complexity is on such a different level any comparison is just absurd.
