It is bad enough he had a rookie in his 1st game throw the ball 50 times, but if you are Jeffrey Lurie, do you really want a coach on your team who is willing to do this to their best player:

What a fat dope.

Allowing McCoy to get concussed near the end of this game should be considered the straw that broke the camel's back.

No he shouldn't. He needs to stay so we secure a top 3 pick. Start the rebuilding now with a great pick and a new coaching staff.

this is the most idiotic comment i have ever read and thats saying something around here.  He did not "allow" McCoy to get a concussion.  McCoy is a football player and there was still a football game going on why wouldn't Mcoy be in the game.  Second i'm sure McCoy has incentives in his contract based on touches and carries.  Third if McCoy wasn't in the game you would be crying why the hell isn't Reid playing the teams best player.  Fourth what the hell would he be saving him for, the big push to .500.

Reid needs a full off season to develop Foles into a top 10 QB.  Reid will be back in 2013.

They're still going to be paid with or with out AR

Laurie needs to get in the locker room if AR is a cancer, he needs to be cut out

Firing him, now serves no purpose.....it will not motivate players who need motivation. Watkins, a former 1st rounder should have ripped ARs door off the hinges for having to sit behind a 4 DAY Vet. If you fire AR now Vick and Nnamdi at least know they have a team to try out for next year after the Birds waive them. Nor do you have a OC or DC in the wings that may be a viable head coach next year.....so who becomes interim HC if you fire AR?

Do not think AR will be easy to replace.....do you think Sean Payton would consider this team given the QB situation? In fact what coach for that matter? Cower? Either Gruden? Oh there will be takers, but will we be getting a tier 1 guy?

Know who we have lied up before the trigger is pulled.....note I am not saying do not aim that gun squarely at ARs head, he's done....just don't act on spite or emotion

Yeah, it's going to be sweet when they pick a long snapper with that 3rd pick.

I think there were 20+ called pass plays in the 4th quarter (and 4 called run plays), when they were down 24-6 (to start the quarter).

I just said the same thing in another thread...go get Bruce Arians

He did a lot with Big Ben and Young Luck, he can work with Foles

He's the perfect guy

No worries, I'm sure we can find a bum off the street that can win three games next season.

Lets be honest here, why would he NOT be in the game? It isn't like they need to protect their players from the playoffs they aren't going to make it into.

Andy doesn't want to be here anymore either.  It's quite obvious he's grown tired of the fans, players, the town, everything.

So you think this team was going to win super bowl until todays loss?  If you didn't then the game is meaningless and McCoy should be sent home for the season right?  I mean if you arn't going to win the superbowl whats the point.  Everyone knows how good he is there is no reason to play him anymore right?

Yeh, because it's not like being have career ending injuries, or totally tear up their knee and can't play for a year, or hurt themselves and never return to be as good as they were before.

exactly he's a football player and they get paid to play football games.  The pats won by 35 today (and that game was over early) they still have a shot at the playoffs also.  you want to know how many snaps his backup took today 0.

Well I've been saying from the start of the season why keep 4 runningbacks when we barely use one- I wanted more touches for the backups.

You have to play your games to win them. when in each game it is clear we cant win, mccoy shouldn;t be getting carries.

down 25 pts with 2 minutes left it's a joke he is getting carries.

He could get his head slammed to the turf snap one monday and the same thing happens.   Why arn't you complaining that Desean was in, or Maclin, or cole on D, DRC, or Nnamdi, or ryans.  This is a regular season football games this is what he gets paid for there is no reason why he wouldn't be in the game.  There is a reason Tom Brady played every snap today even when that game was over at half time and they won by 35.  NE even has something to play for.  There is a reason that the skins never took RGIII out even when the game was in hand.
