At 3-7 we are picking at the 5th spot on draft night.
Do any of you see us winning more games?
I see maybe one. It's funny how every week I'm hoping they prove me wrong. lol smh

We can only go down (by down I mean a later pick) from here.

There are a lot of teams with equal/slightly better records than us right now who have harder schedules.

I think we might win one more game. At this point, I can't see us even winning 2 games the rest of the year with this OL and attitude on this team.

With the way Dalton is playing in Cinci, NO.

We will get a top 3 pick.

Who's coming out worth talking? Who is this "real franchise changer" ?

We finally get decent draft position, and there's no one there to take. Typical Eagles luck.

a top 8 pick would be nice

Any real good O-Line prospects out there?  Or an absolute stud DE or DT? Or possibly a stud CB or Safety

Teo could be the next Derrick Brooks/Ray Lewis
Star could be the next Nagta.

The impact chise guys are on defense IMO

At this point, I think we all know the pick will only get worse.  The only thing we can count on them to do is to F up.  Once the season is totally F'ed, then they'll start winning and F their draft pick too, just like last year.

Almost forgot about Teo. The silver lining of this season is we may be in a position to draft him

The Eagles should go best player available in the top 8. If it's an OT,  DT or LB, so be it.  They need a perennial pro bowl caliber player.  The only guy we have like that now is McCoy.  I know I definitely want them to avoid Barkley.

There are a few tackles that we could and should take.  No way I want a qb this year this high.  I'm sorry but todd h as a tackle doesn't work.  Watkins as a guard dont work. And well kelce is way way over rated.  He is merely ok.  We need tackles in the worst way, and taking one allows Todd to go back to guard where he is far better.  I want a mean nasty oline like sanfrans.  Anything else is lipstick on a pig at this point....it don't matter.

ALL the first round quarterbacks I would avoid. Barkley and Smith will be gone by the third pick, so we shouldn't have to worry about them.

In no particular order, the top 4 guys I would want would be Te'o, Milliner, Lotulelei, and Joeckel. If we pick at 5, at least two will be available.

Let's see...they have a mobile QB...a WR with good deep speed and we have safeties that are frequently out of position and defenders who take bad angles when trying to tackle players.  Their defense is bad, but not as bad as the Saints and Skins.   I can see us losing this game.

The Eagles should do whatever the new GM thinks is best....as long as that guy isn't Reid or Roseman.

I think we will beat Dallas in the House of Jerry.  I'm doubting we beat Carolina.  Dallas always plays down to competition and they haven't been very good in the new House of Jerry.

If you mean do we go higher or lower in terms of our record, I don't think we're going to be the worst team in the league. I think it's fair to say we can still wind up 5-11. I just can't visualize this team dropping 13 straight games. It might happen, but I can't (or maybe refuse) to see it. So I'd say we'd getter a lower pick, not a higher one (as in closer to #1).

If you mean trading up or down, I'd say it depends on who is available. Personally I don't know who will be coming out that will make an immediate impact. They say the quarterback class isn't going to be great. We have good receivers. We have good running backs. We have decent (but not great) tight ends. The pressing needs are along the line (especially offense), linebackers, and safety, and we rarely see safeties and linebackers drafted so low in the draft.

i think we'll probably wind up in the top 5, oakland is competing better than we are so we may end up at 4 or 5.. if we bring in a coach that wants to implement at 3-4 D here, you take Lotulelei in a heart beat to anchor that line. guys like Curry and Graham could be converted to 3-4 OLBs. keep cullen jenkins then and move cox to DE and you have a legit 3-4 front 7. i think we should also try to trade back into the first round for an olineman like Chance Warmack or Barrett Jones.
DE- Cox
NT- Lotulelei
DE- Jenkins
LOLB- Graham
MLB- Kendricks, Ryans
ROLB- Curry

LT Peters
LG Mathis
C Kelce
RG Warmack
RT Herremans

Luke Joeckel, OT, from Texas A&M

Is there any doubt that the Eagles have to upgrade their offensive line? Their tackle position is in shambles. Jason Peters recently tore his Achilles; Demetress Bell has been a bust signing; while King Dunlap simply sucks. Even if Peters comes back close to 100 percent, an upgrade could be made at right tackle, which would allow Todd Herremans to move back to his natural guard position.

Luke Joeckel had a slow start to his 2012 campaign, but he's improved tremendously lately, even stifling the LSU pass-rushers recently. He's moved into the 5-8 range.
