We're losing to Dallas, Cincy, New York, and Washington. Possibly even Tampa unless their fire burns out. Carolina is too bad all around to be a sure loss, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Agreed....DT and DE also do not need a first round pick.  Or WR for that matter.

OT, CB, S are the priorities.

-Carolina has been losing games it should have won. They don't have their run or passing game figured out yet.
-We probably would have beat Dallas if Nick Foles didn't come in and give them 2 TDs.
-We've already beat NYG once.

We will probably win all 3 of those games.

I would really like to see Curry play to know that for certain. WR would be mildly annoying to spend a top five pick on, as would DT. OT, CB, S, LB(though for once it isn't at the top of my list) and possibly QB if they like the guy and Foles doesn't improve.

As for the schedule... I could see as many as three wins being possible for the rest of the season. Giants if they have division locked up, Washington if RG3 gets arrested entering Philly, and Carolina might be worse than us.

i think we'll probably wind up in the top 5, oakland is competing better than we are so we may end up at 4 or 5.. if we bring in a coach that wants to implement at 3-4 D here, you take Lotulelei in a heart beat to anchor that line. guys like Curry and Graham could be converted to 3-4 OLBs. keep cullen jenkins then and move cox to DE and you have a legit 3-4 front 7. i think we should also try to trade back into the first round for an olineman like Chance Warmack or Barrett Jones.
DE- Cox
NT- Lotulelei
DE- Jenkins
LOLB- Graham
MLB- Kendricks, Ryans
ROLB- Curry

LT Peters
LG Mathis
C Kelce
RG Warmack
RT Herremans

Interesting.......still think you need a bigger safety to add to that,,,,,,,Kenny Vacarro would be nice behind that front 7.

Not that it matters much because the season isn't over - but for the record, the Eagles currently hold the 6th overall pick - not the 5th.

Who's coming out worth talking? Who is this "real franchise changer" ?

We finally get decent draft position, and there's no one there to take. Typical Eagles luck.

Star Lotulelei.  Him next to Cox for a decade!  He's comparable to a grizzly bear in pads.  Watch the USC from 2012 clip about the 1:02 mark.  Man handles the OL.

Disagree with DE and WR. I'm curious if Cole is in poor form, or really just lost a step permanently. Also I'd consider our receiving core as above average, nothing special

I don't even go above average.  I think DeSean is a more talented Pinkston, nice deep threat and some run after the catch ability, but he is overrated by the people saying he is a #1 WR.  Maclin, to me, is no better than a #3 WR.  He just hasn't shown me anything.  We need a #1 WR, big and physical, then move DeSean to #2 and Maclin to #3.  There would be a lot of money invested however I think we'd have weapons.

On a side note, I am tracking Jared Cook this offseason.  He wanted traded and now is supposed to be a free agent.  Run a 2 TE set with him n Celek and I think that could improve the passing game if you can't get a #1 WR, and they don't grow on trees.

Either Luke Joeckel, OT from Texas A&M or Taylor Lewan, OT from Michigan.

Those should be the targets right now.

taking a tackle helps us in three ways:

1) improves RT
2) improves G when herremans kicks back inside
3) gets celek off the line blocking and gets him downfield

but if we're going to switch to a 3-4, star's gotta be the pick.
