Face it.  You can post, rant, rave and "bleed green" all you want, but nobody is listening.  And they stopped listening to our sports writers long ago, for good reason.

This season is over for us, there is nothing left but more excuses and, unfortunately, more injuries.  And through all of this, not a word from Lurie.

If you want to make a statement, and maybe even get a reaction from the boss, then simply stay home.  Don't go to the Linc and spend millions on overpriced junk food and drinks.  We have a few very good players, but it's not like you will be turning your backs on a "team" - we definitely do not have one of those.

And do you REALLY want to deal with the crowds and shell out all that money (above the ticket price)  just to sit there and watch us lose to Carolina, too?

Time's ours.  MNF.  Everybody in the country will see you not be there!

This has already been brought up 5 times today and has been brought up 10,000 times in the last 40 years ...  it never happens.

Im not sure what you want to happen.  Its over. We get a fresh start next year.  Theres no need to keep beating a dead horse.  They can fire Andy tomorrow, at the end of the year whatever.  They can't just quit, they have to play out the schedule and you have to watch it nor not watch it.

There is nothing to protest, no message to send ownership.  Its over.

For all the money our fans spend whether its at the games or for branded stuff they buy in stores or online, a percentage of all of it goes to the owner of the team (as it should, of course).  As a business owner, he OWES customers a working product, and he owes them explanations and plans when that product is garbage.

Not our boy Jeff, though.  He just hides.  And the fans just send him money.

You guys are right that this always comes up and nobody ever does anything about it and I think its because they actually think somebody hears them screaming up there in the seats.  They think they are getting it off their chests.  Nope, they are just throwing cash into the owners chest.

other than Jerry Jones and Al Davis (and let's face it, neither of them had any answers) I've never seen an owner address the fans on a regular basis.

I've been a season ticket holder since Buddy's first year and I'm certainly not boycotting any games this season. It's a bad year.....it happens to every team in every sport.  Lurie has been a very good owner.....He doesn't meddle in the day to day, but he has given his financial committment when signing players.

Andy's tenure is over.....but I won't ignore all the good times he brought us during his tenure.

Why go to Boo....Its just stupid and stating the obvious. Lurie doesn't want a bad product, Andy doesn't want to go out like this....it just happens. If Booing makes you feel better maybe some need to reevaluate what is going on in their lives.

Will you guys please stop with this idiotic request.......

Lurie has always tried to put a winner on the field.....he spends the money, he allows reid to obtain free agents and make trades, they accumulate draft picks.....

One question for you.....Lurie is a movie producer and therefore loves publicity for his productions and, like anybody else, loves money.  Don't you think he's LOVE to be in the super bowl year after year, increasing the eagles brand, increasing the merchandise revenues, increasing exposure?  Well he has given reid every opportunity to do just that.  Lurie's big mistake was tying his cart to reid's horse for so long........and he realizes that now.

All of that is known at this point.   The ONLY message that needs to be received at this point is that Howie had better NOT be leading the rebuilding process this offseason.

Reid's time here is done, and everybody knows it.  This team will be lucky to win even 1 more game.  Lurie obviously wants to win games, and I'm sure it's more than obvious to him, us, and everybody around the world that we aren't winning the Super Bowl this year or any other year if Reid stays on as the head coach.  Any boycott or similar action is just stupid and a waste of time (unless you have no life and you're like those people already in line for black friday sales).  All we can do is sit back and watch the season continue to go down the toilet.  Now, if Lurie holds a press conference at the end of the season and talks about 3-13 (or 4-12, whatever) being "unacceptable," but then goes on to give excuses to keep Reid for another year, that's a different situation.

Boycotts & petitions always make me laugh. You think the players are going to suddenly start playing better because of that? Or the coaches will start coaching better?

Agreed, but to me thats not even an issue either.  He's gone too.  A lot changes in a week in the NFL, a lot more changes in two weeks.  Two weeks ago Jeff thought Howie picked up a young LB, CB and franchise QB.  Today, this past draft looks more like the rest of Howie's.  In 6 weeks, Howies roster will look even worse.

If Reid didn't build this OL, Howie did.  Every roster move he makes fails miserably.  They can't avoid that fact when evaluating the overhaul thats coming.  Howie is gone.

No new coach is going to agree to a deal with Howie picking his players.  None.  Jeff will have to demote or fire him.  Howie's run is over.

I have zero confidence Lurie does the right thing and can/demote/shift Howie.   ZERO.   To me,  this one decision tells me how serious Lurie is about winning.

Since you paid for your ticket on Monday night, maybe you could wear paper bags like New orleans used to do.

Then leave at halftime!
