The line sucked until mid-late season.. What games were you watchin? Notice later in the season Vick came back and was lights out? 4-0 with great ratings in all 4.

It's about who's making the decisions. And that person (Andy Reid) isn't good at it.
Time to move on.
I can't tell you how many times yesterday I saw blanketed WR's running deep routes and NOT ADJUSTING THEIR ROUTES when a clear blitz was about to take place. I've seen this all throughout McNabb's time here, Kolbs brief time, Vick time and now Foles yesterday.
At what point do people start to realize that "reading defenses" doesn't mean what you think it means? You don't think and NFL Qb knows that a blitz is likely coming when they walk everybody up to the line INCLUDING the safeties? Vick knows. He's reading it. Doing something about it is quite another thing. Sometimes he burns the blitz sometimes he doesn't. That doesn't mean he can't read a defense. I'm so sick of hearing that. He would be given the Tebow treatment by now if he couldn't.
From what I've observed and for the simple fact that every QB under Reid looks exactly the same in these circumstances, is that there is no viable alternative to beat the blitz. WR's should be breaking off routes and filling in large voids where the blitzers are coming from. You can argue quick throw all you want but when you're looking at Maclin, Jackson and Coopers back when the blitz is coming your F'd as a QB.
I know nobody is really going to agree with me because it's not popular opinion here. I'm just stating what I'm seeing. Maybe one of the boards film gurus can substantiate or refute. But to my eyes....Foles was hung out to dry by poor scheme...Just like McNabbKolbVick was.

I hope you aren't talking about the meaningless 4 games they won last season when they were all but out of the playoffs and playing for teams who had nothing to play for. By the way Mike Vick had a turnover in 3 of those games. Not only that, but the fact he was injured for multiple games that season, the season prior, and the current season how can the Eagles count on him? The season was on the line, and the Eagles needed him and he was once again injured. All of this blaming the line is garbage too. Aaron Rodgers has been sacked more times than Mike Vick these past two seasons, but for some reason he's not out for multiple games in the season. Let's stop making excuses. Mike Vick simply isn't getting it done. Too many injuries, too many turnovers. Too many excuses.

Having great football knowledge and being a huge Michael Vick fan is equivalent to being an honest politician....forget about it.

Which QB can take the Eagles to a superbowl next season? IT'S A TRICK QUESTION!
We've never seen Vick without Reid and MM. We never knew what he could have become with a real Coach. In atlanta he had Jim Mora JR (
I think it's too late for him to start over now. The injuries over the years have taken their toll. Much like McNabb towards the end...he's looking old and slow. Still has the arm but it's not enough.
Foles: How the F do you know he's NOT the next Brady? He very well could be. But with this coaching staff there's no chance of it. He needs to unlearn everything he was taught by this regime so he can have a fighting chance of being an NFL QB. But telling yourself that he is a better QB than Vick based off of preseason and 1 NFL game is crazy. He's not better than Vick. He may turn out to be in the future, but we're living in the present.
Starting him to get seasoned and take his lumps has merit. But he's learning lessons he shouldn't have to. Like how to throw a ball 51 times for no good reason when you have arguably the best RB in the league right behind you.
People hate Vick and post stupid BS, and the people fed up with it retaliate and post stupid BS about Foles. It's childish.

Who was coaching during his fluke 2010 campaign?

So, now it's all his coaches fault that he's been mediocre for nearly a decade? Even when he himself admitted that he never really gave a crap & was more focused on running his dogfighting operation than studying defenses?
