Said it before, all this and Te'o is blowing up in Tampa. If we cant develop our own guys we will never be good. Dream team free agent crap doesn't make a team and now were going to run into cap problems, its getting worse before it gets better.

Stop with this, he was terrible here. So what he went on elsewhere and did something else. Fact remains he didn't do it here. Who's to say if the Eagles would've kept him that he would've done anything here? How many times have we seen that across the league?

missing the point... free agent pic ups haven't done **** and now were in cap trouble. Keeping guys in house and developing them fixes that. its getting worse, we pay guys more money for what?

I think the point is that players the Eagles have reached for here or tried to fit in to their system have gone on to be productive other places. Look at DTN, Joe Mays, Andy Studebaker, AQ Shipley, Mike McGlynn, Winston Justice, Kyle Arrington, Brandon Gibson just to name a few. None of those players are Pro Bowlers but they are solid players on their respected teams. The right side of the Colts line could be here instead of that crap they put on the field yesterday. I know you can't hit on every player in the draft but to me it seems like the Eagles are horrible at judging talent to fit their system....or maybe their system is crap. Either way they don't do nearly good enough job at picking the right players.

At this point, the "money" we shift from this year to next will go towards the cap impact of cutting loose the chaff.

I always liked McGlynn and a lot of people said he was the better of the Pitt OL to come out the year Otah was drafted in the 1st round. I always thought he should've been given a chance to play more. With Justice I just felt like he peaked in terms of his talent. He wasn't gonna be much better than what we'd seen but yeah I'd take him over what we've seen the last few weeks.

He was another throw away 3rd rounder, nothing more.
