through a series of unfortunate events i found myself in the children's hospital of Philadelphia , with my 8 year old daughter facing allot of tests and frightening unknowns .... while walking around to clear my head .... i found the wall that commends the people and business that give to CHOP and i noticed that the eagles AND Mr Lurie personally have made contributions to what i can tell you is the absolute BEST hospital anywhere in the world . it is not possible to explain the greatness of chop . it has been a terrible season for sure and i know many eagle fans are not very happy. but i want to thank Mr Lurie and the eagles and try to remind people that in the blink of an eye,,, that sometimes what you feel is important can mean nothing to you when put in perspective .. thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for supporting the children's hospital of Philadelphia .
and to keep this proper for the forum ... "dave could you thank Mr Lurie for me if you ever happen to see him?" no matter how this season goes we are fans that appreciate all that you do in the community .

Great note and a breath of fresh air.
With all the negativity surrounding the Organization for their on field performance its nice to focus a few seconds on some of the great charitable work the Team has done.
Thanks for helping keep things in perspective and may God be with you, your family and especially your daughter during this time.

thanks .... i really was just struck with the reality ... that it must take the corporate ?...grants?... and donations ( i dont really know how it works) for chop to continue to be the world class place that it is . i was brought to tears many times over and my hopes are with EVERY parent and EVERY single child i spent an elevator ride with or passed in the hall. the eagles and Mr Lurie have my true and sincere thanks .

I've been to CHOP with my son and it's a great, fantastic and incredible place. Thanks for the note.
