At this point I would just fire Reid. But that won't happen until the end of the year.  But what should definately happen is:  FIRE MM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He is the worst in the NFL.

Purpledinky eater why do you troll here. It seems every time Detroit loses you have something to say on this board. Shut your sand filled mouth and go back to hiding behind the turban

Dub sell I'm with you on keeping Reid he is one of the best coaches in the NFL.  I agree with all the cuts and additions as well. My only thing is I believe namdi is being used incorrectly. Cut is his salary and put I'm in strict man press with a defensive scheme that suits this defense and we look much different.  Coleman has been N embarrassment all year. That has been a play action he hasn't tried to break on when he needs to sit in coverage.

Norm Snead, Pete Liske, John Reaves, Roman Gabriel, Ron Jaworski, Randall Cunningham, Jim McMahon, Bubby Brister, Rodney Peete, Ty Detmer, Bobby Hoying, Koy Detmer, Doug Pederson, Donavan McNabb, AJ Feely, Jeff Garcia, Kevin Kolb, Mike Vick and Vince Young. Do we honestly think, after all of these Quarterbacks that Nick Foles is the answer?

I'm so sick of people saying Foles cannot succeed because he is a third round pick. That flawed logic is completely disproved and destroyed by the sheer existence of Tom Brady, who was a 6th round pick, and also just happens to be one of the best QBs to ever play the game Give the kid a chance before you completely count him out, one game is hardly enough to base his entire future off of.

Am I discounting him? I simply posted the question. I really do not know yet. I do not care if he was picked first round or a free agent. Also, look at what Tom Brady did in his first start... granted he had a coach who knew how to help him out. Foles does not have any help from coaching or a O-Line. Still, I ask the question hoping for a intelligent answer, not someone simply pounding his chest.....

purple I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche u and anyone else who blames mcnabb for that superbowl loss is a fool.  Mcnabb got us there offesively without owens (broken leg) . Mcnabb carried the team with nothing but westbrook.  In the super bowl owens returned and mcnabb got him the ball 14 times.  The patriots defense was sick and it made the o line look like how it looked this season.  but of course mcnabb is always the blame yet his time in philly he over achieved. He was top 5 and gave the team more wins than they deserved

I take that back, Brady did not play great his first start either, but the team did win by 30 points.... Sorry for the mistake. In fact he played worse his second start.... So there is hope for this young man. I for one would rather he not play much more this season. Doing so could possibly ruin him behind a O-Line as weak as my HS team's was. It may be best for him to start fresh with a new coahing staff in 2013.

I didn't belive it at the time but,  McNabb did get tired in that (SB) game.  Maybe the sound bite from Owens is what made me not belive it for so long.   I put that game in the catagory of the fog game in Chicago.   The Eagles are just snake-bitten behond belief.   But what's happening to us now is..........are there even words to discribe??

"I'm standing in front of the team and telling them these are the things we need to do, one of which is to continue to battle," he said. "So, I think that'd be a cop-out. That's not how I see things. That's not the way I'm wired. We're going to keep battling and do it as a team. I'm not going to tell the guys one thing and then do the other."

And, that makes what you and the team are doing on the field OK, fat man? We're not stupid. Don't treat us like we are.

Andy is a good coach. Feel bad for him with the son situation. But it's best for both parties if Andy leaves Philadelphia. If Jeff let's Andy stay, I think fans will burn down the Nova Care Center.

No matter where Reid ends up, that Franchise will never win a SB under him. He has more flaws in his game than Obama.

like i stated b4 reid can stay...marty,vick,coleman,jenkins, every back.up o line man outside of dunlap, nnamdi and who ever else is aging with a big price tag needs to go.   Gotta take a page from other teams and draft/sign guys who are hungry..talented and fighting to show the world they belong.   No more late round , wasnt that good to begin with, undrt sized guys starting....no offence coleman.

D Vermiel, Jon Gruden, Tom Coughlin and Sean Payton. All super Bowl winning head coaches and all who previously coached for the Eagles in some capacity. I imagine Ar will join this group some day. However, I would still like a change, possibly the Oregon Head coach Chip Kelly. I just like this guy's approach to the game.....

It's Charlie Brown and Lucy.  Every time Charlie Brown believes Lucy that she will hold the ball so he can kick it, she pulls it away.  "Sorry Charlie Brown, you should know better"  It's the same with Reid and Vick.  Andy is Charlie Brown and Vick is Lucy.  Don't you get it?  Vick is the coach killer.  Andy is finished.  Please leave now.  it is the right thing to do.

The front office dismantled the team one by one and now they are left with a very mediocre squad.  You can't make a team through free agents.  it doesn't work.  The front office has a lot of the blame for the state of the team.
Andy Reid hasn't help matters any either.  Andy should leave.  The team is not playing for him.  None of his plays are working.  Guys are getting hurt.

Foles performance this season is sensational! Foles is so good! Foles makes Luck & Griffin III look like a bunch of high school scrubs. Three interceptions, four fumbles, and one touchdown, I can wait to see Foles show up Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Brady at the pro bowl in January!

"Who cares about Foles stats and I don't even care if Foles leads the Eagles to a 0-16 record next season. I just hate the fact that Vick has a 2nd chance at life."- A honest person who doesn't hide behind football blogs.

According to the fans Foles was the answer, before that they were saying Castillo had to go & then we would win... Just goes to show - fans don't know Football. The OLine has been gone the whole season. You hear from other teams in the NFL when they lose a Center or Tackle & that is the reason they missed the Playoffs. We lose both Tackles, the Center & our starting Guard - it's a joke. NO TEAM could win without their ENTIRE STARTING OLINE. You people are stupid! Andy Reid is one of the best Coaches in the HISTORY OF THE NFL! I say Lurie knows enough about football to realize this was an impossible situation. He should let AR & Co. take a run at it again next year with a HEALTHY ROSTER! This team has maybe 2 more pushes (years). Then new QB & skill position players will be needed (& Dline to replace Cole, Babin, Jenkins, Patterson, maybe new CB's... etc...). Before you bust it up & spend the next 10 years looking for a New Coach & Staff, New QB, Scheme w/ the right pieces etc..., let them have a real opportunity to take a run at it - WHEN THEY ARE HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed a lot of people talking about hiring a College coach to replace Reid.  Now I am not saying that is dumb or anything.  But hiring a college coach seems like a step backwards.  I would think someone like one of the Gruden brothers and even Spagnoulo(even if it is just for DC) would be at the top of the list.  With an experienced NFL coach it seems like he could come in and get things turn around quicker.  But with a college coach it seems like it would be life in the cellar for us for the next 5 years. IMO Either way we bad because we don't even have a QB.

@imthewagon they're not fans, it's not about the game of football or even winning. You notice that they never talk about the defensive line (low sack numbers), offensive line (injuries), Special Teams (poor field position), defensive backs (lack of discipline), and the offensive coordinator (play calling). These fans only talk about firing Reid for starting Vick. That's all they care about. They will sleep better if Foles leads the team to 0-16 next year than Vick being on the roster. Their bitterness towards this organization for giving Vick a contract controls their logic so they make a million excuses why Foles performance the last two games were acceptable. Foles is an average quarterback and has a lot of potential to be good but to lower the bar for him and raise it for other quarterbacks in the NFL is delusional and hypocritical. No quarterback nor running back can perform well with this offensive line! But to scrutinize Vick every week and not scrutinize the defense for blowing leads (Lions & Steelers), poor performing special teams and weird playing calling is comical.

Would we really be here if the OL was not injured??? Really...would be?? Only the PATS and the GIANTS have over come 2-3 injuries on their OL as far as I can remember. If you want to blame the coaches/organization...blame them for not having quality depth. But not many organizations/coaching staffs could overcome this...not many all.
