I understand the embarrassment of having your fans' boos get picked up on national tv, or the crowd chanting for the firing of your coach, or even your overly sensitive players overhearing comments from the stands. But this is really irritating.

I was more asking what Dave was expecting from the home crowd Monday night and if he had any explanation for the way the Eagles clearly changed the gameday experience to save themselves from being embarrassed last home game.

Mess,
I think you can expect a real Mess on Monday night vs the Panthers.

You answered your own question. They did it, to save themselves the embarrassment of having the home crowd boo or chant Fire Andy. Good idea imo.

If Reid had an ounce of class, he would step down now to avoid what could be an incredibly embarrassing night for the Eagles. Reid stepping away now could turn this from the disaster it potentially will be, to "hey, it's time to look to our future".

I expect to hear gruden talk about how great cam is playing since he will look like a HOF qb agianst this d.
I expect 50 year old steve smith to light up our secondary.
I expect we will see no turnovers from the eagles D and when they finally make a play for loss they will celebrate like they won the SB even though they are down by 3 scores.
I expect another game with less than 13 points scored by the Eagles.
I expect the eagles will get not a single prime time game next season and rightfully so.
I expect numerous drive killing penalties from the eagles o-linemen.
I expect 50+ pass attempts.
I expect horrible special teams play.
I expect Dave will have a hard time writting an article Tuesday morning.

Well, it's clear that the owner was not satisfied with that censorship, and quickly held the person in charge accountable.
Now if only that culture of accountability was consistent throughout the organization.....
