This is NOT an ad. They aren't my tickets. I'm not even going to list them. But I wanted to point out how sad it is that there are lower level tickets available online for $40/ticket.

Shows the fanbase is giving up on the team this year.

And what's worse is that I'm debating whether to buy them. I haven't been to a game since the 13/30/2007 game vs the Bills. My wife was suggesting the family go, and normally I'd jump at the chance. $40 tickets. Monday Night. What's not to like, right?

Except this team stinks so much right now, I don't think I'd enjoy myself.

I seriously had to go look this up...

2 lower level, endzone tickets available for $35 each

That is just pathetic.

Hopefully you're not a Phillies fan because that windows closed.

My mothers husband not going to the game , she asked me if any of my friends wanted to go with her. I told her even if it was free I don't think they would waste there time , HDTV and a couch are better choice .

It is what it is.....Hard to argue with people that don't want to go to a Monday night game that has no meaning when they have work the next day. As fun as they are they are also an inconvenience.

That said, if you are a fan that has been priced out this is a good time to go......or if you have kids and aren't sure that they can make it through an entire night game this could be an option.

Haha. All this talk of ultra cheap lower level seats has me debating on whether or not to buy tickets, but yeah, this team sucks, it's going to be freezing, and watching NFL games at home tends to be a better experience than actually watching them in person.

That's the best news I've read all morning. Something is being done. We'll see how smart Lurie is now.

Those $35 ones were a bit skewed. The majority of the tickets in the lower level are 60-80 .... which is still really low.

My family and I are season ticket holders....we've been selling the majority of our tickets this season (money's tight this year). Until this game, we'd been able to recoup the face value but for this game we can't even get a bite for $50 a piece and they're in the club lounge.

In related news, currently working on creative chants for the game. Also invested in warmer clothing.

Not sure what this "shows" the owner since the seats sold are available on the secondary market.....the team already sold them and made their profit.

Bargain hunters won't be the cash cows the original owners were. Lurie is a one-percenter. Most of his money is made off investment at half the working man's tax rate. He understands the importance of speculation. This is an indication of the real value of Eagles' tickets right now. He'd be dumb to ignore it. It's tangible evidence of a change in his ability to sell tickets and for that I'm grateful.

Save you're money....it isn't worth it. If they were $5 it'd still be too much.

Was noticing yesterday how standing room only tickets were going for $16. Still probably won't go though...

Yep typical non season ticket holder. When they are good you want them cheap and when they are no good you dont want to go.

I was just given 4 super box seats to the Bengals Thursday night game for nothing. Ha ha. Sounds good to me. I won't even care who is playing. Just root for AJ Green or something.

people will go...but they won't tailgate and won't stay to see the team get blown out. believe me, the FO has gotten the message, they blew out the PA @ the dallas game b/c they were trying to turn it up loud enough to drown out the boos during the pregame intros. linc security guards are trying to keep people from wearing bags and bringing in signs. MNF is gonna be ugly. they're gonna get beat by a 2-8 team. espn must be dying over this scheduling nightmare.

Well, ok, people will go, I get that. But just don't go into the stadium? Stay outside and continue with your tailgate.

I said it on another thread somewhere, why ruin a great evening/tailgate with friends and family, by going into the stadium and watching what basically is a pre-season slopfest of a game?

going to an eagles game and sitting in the parking lot during the game is one of the stupidest things i've ever seen anyone do. never understood that.

go, get hammered, get angry, boo the intros, and get some fire andy chants going on espn. if the crowd does that, they've done their job.
