both teams draw numbers

It's more about the stars then the franchises. I'm not sure how well Dallas drew when their QB was Chad Hutchinson. I'm not sure how well the Eagles drew when their QB was Bobby Hoying.

No it's not stupid, but a little common sense. Tell me, if the team is pretty much guaranteed not to make the playoffs, then what's the point of continuing to get W's. If you say pride, please, pride is one of the 7 deadly sins.

Common sense dictates that if you are out of the playoffs then you are playing for a better draft pick.

You want to root for a win, fine, but don't tell me that it's smart to try to win if they are out of it. The new saying should be "You play for a better draft pick to improve faster" Wins are only going to hurt this team in this current season.

Pride wins nothing.

I think good or bad, Eagles/ Cowboys games generate a lot of ratings.

I think your right, they toss out the records when it comes to these two teams playing each other.  Eagles-Cowboys is always a good ratings draw.  Toss in the fact that both teams were serious playoff contenders and have failed miserably, and the fact that both teams are basically daily soap operas.  It makes for a good night for NBC.   Just sucks because I cant stand listening to the biased NBC crew.  Havent been able to for years, but this year was the worst with the way they play the salsa song for Victor Cruz but nothing else for any other player in the NFL.

You didn't answer the question. What is the purpose of winning if they don't make the playoffs? If you truly love this team, you would want them to improve as quickly as possible. Winning anymore this season hinders that improvement.

young guys on team need to learn how to win ball games....not just roll over and be losers

you want to create losing attitude have all these young guys lose 12 straight games...6 within the division

there isnt a once in a decade player in this draft like Luck was

play to win the game

but who knows maybe you teach your kids to be losers at times 2

Let me know how those maybe 1 or 2 more wins works for you...

Winning isn't everything...Just ask your mom.

Might not be a once in a decade, but it's a nice consolation prize:

This figures to be our last primetime major network game for a couple of years.  The Eagles play the Bengals on the NFL Network in a couple of weeks. But, I doubt we will see the Eagles on MNF or SNF the next 2 years.  We had a good run in terms of primetime games.

I think you have this idea that despite being terrible, we will still be relevant just because we have a large following.  That's not true. The Dolphins, Raiders, Redskins, Broncos and 49ers all have huge national followings yet all have been irrelevant when bad.

i get that but with thursday night games and monday night football not being the "top game" of the week

this team will still get national games

also we play the cowboys and giants 4 times a year 2 teams with HUGE market share

and with RGIII becoming a star who we play twice a year that is more opportunities for national games

just saying

Would be fine by me if every game were on Sunday at 1PM.

2nd drive for a TD was beautiful plan and execution by all on Offense...

Nice!

The prior series defense with a sack by Graham was good to see also!!!

Go eagles!!
