The core foundation and tradition of the Eagles has been and is the players passion and desire to give 100 percent effort on every play(regardless of score). This Eagles team is NOT indicitive to a Eagles team of years past.....the lose of Coach Johnson and B-Dawk, resulted in the Eagles losing there identity. Sure, injuries will happen.......its at a point of true adversery will show the character of the team. Stop looking for excuses.....the other pastures are not always better. Coach Reid is an excellent coach.....
After watching the Ravens and Steelers play on Sunday, it was very apparent that the Eagles don't have it and are not playing with HEART.
Each player on the team needs to do some soul search to determine if the fit with the core foundation and this new identity......otherwise, eagles need to hire players/coach that can be a leader and encourage players to 'Act-the-fool'.

Andy is a good coach, no doubt. But his philoshphy may have run its course in philly. He has been here like 12 years. So it is not like fans, management and the team hasn't believed in him. We stuck by him. Does he deserve to go out on his own terms? Yes. But it is time to move on. You just can't teach a dog new tricks sometimes. If andy would have fired marty early in the season and kept juan, there may have been a chance. But things are stale and there seems to be a ceiling we can't break through. It is time for fresh and new ideas.
