But I was embarrassed because this was the first time I thought an Eagles time rolled over and didn't put forth effort. When we sucked at least it felt like our players cared and were leaving everything on the field for the W.
After watching the game a second time. There is only a very small number of players that I felt gave everything they had for the Eagles and that is a sad fact.
Our secondary sucks and nobody played hard.
Our WR suck outside of Cooper nobody put forth any effort.
Our line sucks can't tell if they were trying or not because they suck so bad.
DL Graham put forth some effort and after that very little to write home about.
Our RB's ran the ball hard so that was a bright spot.
I thought Foles played hard but it was his first game so that should be expected.
Our linebackers Ryans and Kendrick I thought played with a lot of energy and played hard.
It was a sad day to see an Eagle team roll over and not give effort especially against a division rival.....
And what does that point me too? There needs to be a ton of changes starting from Reid and all the way down.

ALLEN SUCKS.. Coleman isn't playing that well but that might be due to others and trying to do too much-- but ATLEAST he tries!!
We need a 3rd LB. Ryans n Kendricks need a real LB next to them on the base 4-3.
The Oline is horrible.. Our wr's are soft except Cooper. Djax is sorta expected to be soft bc he's 170 lbs.. So that doesn't bother me + he's putting out effort.
Wow gonna be a BIG TURNOVER this offseason!! Hopefully.

BTW- Marvin Harrison weighs just as much as D-jack and is shorter- Not once in his career was he labeled as soft or quit on a play in a blowout.

1. Why on earth would you torture yourself by watching that garbage twice? I couldn't watch that whole game once and didn't.
2. Did you really have to watch it twice to come to your conclusions? Most have been seeing this week in and week out and have labeled this team "soft" and "heartless" since the cards game.

Now for me the sad part is if they aren't trying they aren't doing Reid any justice and they are certainly doing nothing to save his job, It's really disappointing.
I know it would never happen, but I'd love to see many changes, starting with Reid. Not him being fired, or stepping down, but for things to change within him, from the system, to the poor clock management, from going after smaller, "fast ball" players, etc. I know this would never happen, but I really think Reid is a good coach and would love to see him stay. He can't stay without making these changes though.
All of this being said, I am an Eagles fan and will continue to support this team and be the best fan I can be. I will accept what ever decisions Lurie and the rest of the staff make going into next season.

The o line is a joke...watching King Dunlap get beat play after play and then complain to the ref is just pathetic.
Kendricks has all the talent in the world...but he needs to be WLB not SLB. leave it to the Eagles to try and put a player in a position they aren't suited for.
I like the idea of Bryce returning kicks but they need better blocking. and then he needs to know how to follow it..not just bowl forward.

LOL, Coleman tries too damn hard and bites on everything. Tate loves their knee jerk reactions. Yeah, Allen bit on two play fakes and gave up a couple of TDs. Coleman has been doing that all year. Allen hasn't been that much of a problem outside of last Sunday.

Many older highly paid vets will depart. Dawn of a new day. At this point all I can fall back on is what the grunts
would say in the rice paddies of south east asia when it all went bad...it don't mean nothin.

That's minimum 3-4 years of brutal blowout loses like you saw last sunday.
Honestly, I don't think most of these fans can handle that. They've been spoiled on NFCC games and routine playoff appearances.
They can't handle a real rebuild. But that's what's necessary.

Maclin - McCoy and Jackson got their contracts - you might want to try a little bit if you want some coin.

It does not take nearly that long in this day of the NFL. The Colts couldn't even compete last year. They grabbed some high picks and a franchise QB and now are a young energetic team with much hope. San Fran was pathetic a few years ago - drafted some young studs and got a legit HC and they are legit.
It could take a few years but seeing as we've just watched 2 full seasons of horrific football - I think fans are more ready for a couple years of transition than you might think.

Re WR: Jackson last year admitted he didn't give 100% effort all the time and while he has been better in that department so far this year. In this game I saw last years Jackson. Throwing his hands up in the air when the rookie QB running for his life couldn't find him open 50 yards down the field. After that I noticed a big drop in effort on his patterns and what not. Maclin I just think he is shook right now. I notice he is better when he is running his routes away from contact. I think he is afraid to get knocked out again. Cooper was the only one I saw playing with Max effort almost 100% of the time.
On the defense I really like Cox and the upswing Graham is making right now. Those two along with Kendricks seem like 3 great building blocks for a D. I couldn't imagine how bad the score would have been without those 3 players and Ryans yesterday.
Our CB's and pass rush have been the most disappointing to me. But I think one isn't helping the other. I noticed there are very few 5 yard slants taken to the house on our CB's it is mostly the bombs that get them beat. That fact was hidden last year because our Defensive Line was so dominant. This year they are no place to be found.
But like I said this is this most disappointed I have been in a team in a long team and I didn't care what the final score said.
