What happen to Dion Lewis i guess he is #2 this week. They hyped this kid up all spring, the little i seen looked good but w with no Peters Blocking on the outside could his fast, hit the edge ability do much.Bryce gets yds cause he is a beast and shady is just a special player to do as good as he does with zero blocks. All these RB's could be getting chunks of yardage. They  just need an O line. I see the new HC trying to build a line through the draft. Peters , if healthy  and i  believe  Kelce  and Herramans will be around too, Todd should go back to guard. We need depth, I think we could see a new RT, RG, and home better backup tackles. A vet or two. The good news is Howie made the deals to keep Djax, McCoy, Cole, Herramans and even Edwards are locked down. These are still good players for the most part, i believe this. They have been put in the worst positions to succeed. These coach's should be having a field day with all the

It does not matter how fast McNutt ran at the combine in gym shorts. The bottom line is he has trouble getting separation and reading his routes. I seen him in training camp and preseason. The only thing we can blame this receiving corp is too many drops. The talent is their and any reasonable analysis  agrees that Marty is not putting these guys in the position to succeed. His play calling never gets better. The man is a moron. I bet my life that if we had better coaching, this could be one of the better WR groups in the NFL.

Too bad we don't have any  safeties with potential to watch. I really think that with NFL caliber safeties, this would be an entirely different D. Nnamdi and DRC take a lot of abuse , but without safety help to take parts of the field away, how can they defend a player that  knows where the ball is going to be before it is thrown? And the Wide nine depends on safeties coming up to make stops in the run game...not gonna happen with current Eagles group..

Yeah these guys are good. Coaching and just general organization and basic reactive playcalling is the missing piece now

Yo jwood- re: Bryce from the previous spadaro installment- oh I have no doubt, Bryce brown is an awesome snag for us. Great talent and has been looking better and better with more carries. Should feast on the panthers. Was just commenting on the nature of an article in week 10 of the season that focuses on thinks like 5yd runs and interceptions that arent the qb's fault as the high-points of the article, and what kind of a season an article like that is indicative of- "sad"

On top of the TD that was given to the texans the Lions were also got  a 15yd penlaty on the KO

I am watching RG3 shred the Cowboys to pieces. Before the draft I said on these forums that RG3 would be everything that Andy and Marty are trying to make MP6. We could have traded up to get this guy but hey we have the great Mike Vick, so who needs RG3.  If you want to stay dominant in your division you can't let the competition continue to draft elite talent you have to make a way to draft those players for your organization. You can see the difference between RG3 now and in the beginning of the season, he has adjusted to the speed of the game in front of him now he is playing fast and his pocket awareness is very good and he's accurate with the football. Foles hasn't played enough to have adjusted to the speed of the game so he'll be the worst of the rookie QB's until has gets enough experience and Vick will be the worst of the vets until he stops playing QB because he was never that good of QB to begin.

Our talent evaluation and development is horrific. Lets evaluate in general a few of our draft picks of the last few drafts.
2010 1st rd- Brandon Graham- was the best DE in his draft by most scouts, he comes here and can't match his college production, this is not a talent problem its the coaches that can't develop the talent.
2010 2nd rd- Nate Allen- played better as a rookie than at any other time as an Eagle.
2011 4th rd- Casey Matthews- was a leader on Oregon's D and a playmaker for them. He comes here and can't get on the field after being thrown to the wolves as a rookie.
Akeem Jordan is the starting will because he made plays in preseason against vanilla offenses but he has not made any plays after that. I saw Casey make two plays against Pittsburgh after Kendricks got injured.Casey hasn't made many plays on special teams while Akeem hasn't made many in the base defense. I think Akeem brings more value on ST's than Casey and Casey brings more playmaking ability in the base defense.
I could go on and on but dinner is almost ready. The coaches are horrible in this organization they have great college players on the roster and they can't even coach them up to be good NFL players and the 3-7 record is an indication of horrible coaching and bad QB play while last year's 8-8 flop was the result of bad coaching, bad QB. We went 4-0 in the preseason which indicates to me that the talent at the end of roster is NFL caliber but we need an elite QB, size, speed and physicality at the safety positions and good backups at the OL positions and good coaching to develop that talent.

Not  disagree with ur evaluation but Graham is really starting to show y we used that 1st round pick on him it's just a shame he doesn't get more playing time he is r best DE this yr. the whole comparing him to JPP is crazy yes JPP had an amazing season but what people forget is Graham got hurt late in his rookie yr and this is really his first season back at 100%.

As for the whole trading up for Rg3 that would have been hard skins gave up 2 1st round picks a 2nd etc. just to move up like 4spots what do u think it would have cost us??? also got to think we would have to beat the Skins offer

Bleeding- I don't think JPP would be the player he is because we are not good at developing talent. The player development is pathetic, below average. I can't think of any player that we have drafted in the first round to make the Probowl since Shawn Andrews. Our best player, Jason Peters, was acquired in a trade. I think Reid has exactly two players that he has drafted make a pro bowl since 2005. DJax and Trent Cole. Can anyone name any other players Reid has drafted to be voted to the probowl since 2008? Every year I have watched us pass on players in the draft that are kicking our arse right now. The 2012 draft appears to be one of the best we have had since the Westbrook draft class. We are at the bottom of the division because these geniuses kept trading with division opponents. How many players do the Cowboys have based off draft day trades with us? Who was the genius who traded picks to draft Maclin but could have stayed put and drafted Hakeem Nicks?

Brandon Graham should be the starter but someone believes Babin is better.

Dave... u missed Shady on the pro bowl list. But we have done a pretty good job at developing RBs here even though we under use them.

To be fair Maclin was rated way higher then Nicks in the draft.  Maclin hasn't been the same since that illness he had in the 2011 offseason. I don't know if that is just because of poor playcalling or what i'm disappointed in maclin really expected him to have a breakout season by now. With a new Staff i think we will really see Maclin shine

It's the coaching. It's the QB. It's the OL. It's the defense. How about IT"S THE TEAM?

Here's to hoping the new guys bring a much needed spark to this team.

Going through the roster I notice it's usually the guys that were drafted by the team that tend to give it their all for the team and the fans. The homegrown heroes tend to play with more heart... we need more of that here.
