Is that a lot of Vick fans want Foles to fail to prove a point.
And that a lot of Eagles fans want us to suck so we get a high draft pick?

So say Foles sucks, Vick isnt coming back so we decide to draft a QB with our high draft pick, let's say Matt Barkley as we all know how QBs are always taken higher than they actually should be.

I dont think anyone wants Barkley, tbh I don't want any QB coming out of the draft next year.

So realistically, I think the best thing that can happen is that Foles shows a lot of promise and maybe even leads us to a few wins this year. Then we have a QB we can work on over the next couple of years.

I'd much rather have Foles play well and end up with maybe the 8th pick than him suck and the Eagles get the third pick.

I refuse to want the Eagles to lose ever, I want us to win as many games as we can. Good players can still be found out the top 3 picks.

Fans can root for whatever they think is in the best interest of the team. What's sad is the product and play on the field we've all been subjected to the last few years.

Unfortunately I'm not sure the team's best interest is what drives some 'fans' preferences/desires.

When this team builds a foundation on non-gimmick players we will get back into contention with some smash mouth football

What I find really sad is that when McCoy was carted off the field after a helmet-to-helmet hit from Madieu Williams and Reed Doughty the Redskins players were laughing about it and the Eagles as a team didn't have an issue with it.

Whole damn squad needs to be replaced, it is a roster that needs a rip-down and a rebuild

You don't have to do anything. It's a game that you have absolutely no control over and a game that has no affect on your life whatsoever. Go out and join adult sports and actually play a game instead of watching other people.

Usually I'm not on the lose-for-a-better-pick bandwagon, but this year is different.   This team has been so ugly, that I can while the tiniest, mathematical chance exists of the possibility of still reaching the playoffs, I will guarantee there is ZERO probability that the Eagles make the playoffs.  Therefore this is another year considered a failure.  Might as well at least get a near-lock successful draft pick instead of another 14-18 mid-round pick.  This team needs to be ready to make some significant changes next year, and having a Top 5 (at least Top 10) pick might help solidify this team quicker.

The reality here is, we have zero idea what is going to happen this season with the decisions made, whos staying whos going.

It seems like the more changes reid has made, the worse we have gotten.

We need to sadly see how things play out for the rest of the season.

Fact is we arnt the only team who has gone through a change or is in need of it and if anyone here thinks this squad is a football team or a team at all is very wrong. We do not compete as a team and it's been downright pathetic.

This has been true of Vick, Kolb, McNabb, Feeley, garcia etc.  Why would you expect it to change now?

This logic is the same logic that caused the Eags to lose out on O.J. Simpson back in '68. Whatever makes ya happy.

I still remember how bad he got booed a few years back when he played the Eagles on SNF at Candlestick. Geez, I've never heard a fanbase boo one of their own players that loud. Not even this one.

Anyways, I wouldnt mind signing a Jason Campbell/Alex Smith/Matt Hasselbeck to QB this team temporarily next year if Nick Foles doesnt work out. I just really dont want Geno Smith or Matt Barkley here and I damn sure dont want the Eagles to sign Tim Tebow.
