I am hoping that a new coach can fix these problems, because I don't see any other solution. I mean, people have said that the Eagles should dump Nnamdi, but does anyone really believe that the replacement would be any better? I have always thought that Coleman was horrible, but he can't really be the only reason this defense is doing poorly.
Honestly, I look at the offense and truly believe that next year it will be fine. The team will be getting three starters back on the offensive line and will hopefully add a first round draft pick at right tackle so Herremans can go back to guard where he belongs. As long as the next coach doesn't believe that throwing the ball on every down off a play action pass isn't the right way to run an offense, things should be fine on that side of the ball.
But the problems on defense? That's a mystery to me. It would be one thing if Kendricks and Ryans had turned out to be Demetrius Bell and Danny Watkins, but they have seemed to play pretty well. Cox is also doing well. So if the team upgraded at three positions on defense, how is it possible that they are playing so much worse? If anyone has an explanation, I would love to hear it.

No need to post a sarcastic remark as a thread followed by, "What say you, TATE?"
This can only be considered a fishing attempt.

And right now, at this moment, I'd say part of the reason is that JC was better than Bowles. Hopefully that changes in the future.

but I honestly thought we had a team that would show up to play football not stand there just to collect their pay checks

In all seriousness, I predicted an 11-5 record, and I thought I was being modest. I really thought the D-line would be dominant and play well enough to get consistent pressure without blitzing. I thought the offense would be in the top 10 as they usually are.
No one could've predicted just how hard the O-line would be hit by injuries, but the Eagles problems go deeper than that. There's a lack of talent and, more importantly, a lack of heart and desire on this team. We came out of the bye week without any fire and intensity. I've never seen a pro team look quite this uninspired. Where's Jeff Garcia when you need him?

As of today: We might win 1 or 2 more games if we are lucky. I say the team ends up anywhere between 3 - 13 and 5 - 11.

I do see a long road ahead of us now though. I see a new coach coming in and there being growing pains. I just hope we do not dwindle into nothingness for the next 10-15 years like the cowboys.
Just seems unfair to not have a parade it really does!

I bought the propaganda about the lockout, the coaching changes, the team needing time to develop chemistry.
