So where are all the TATEr's that predicted 10 or more wins and a Super Bowl this year?

What say you now?

I thought this team would win 13 games. I still can't believe that they are playing this bad. I can understand the problems on offense because of the injuries. But I am mystified as to why the team doesn't have one of the best defenses in the NFL. I mean, how does a team go from the top of the league in sacks one year to the bottom the next with better players? And the team clearly upgraded at linebacker. Ryans and Kendricks are clearly better than what the team had last year. Yet, the defense is absolutely horrible.

I am hoping that a new coach can fix these problems, because I don't see any other solution. I mean, people have said that the Eagles should dump Nnamdi, but does anyone really believe that the replacement would be any better? I have always thought that Coleman was horrible, but he can't really be the only reason this defense is doing poorly.

Honestly, I look at the offense and truly believe that next year it will be fine. The team will be getting three starters back on the offensive line and will hopefully add a first round draft pick at right tackle so Herremans can go back to guard where he belongs. As long as the next coach doesn't believe that throwing the ball on every down off a play action pass isn't the right way to run an offense, things should be fine on that side of the ball.

But the problems on defense? That's a mystery to me. It would be one thing if Kendricks and Ryans had turned out to be Demetrius Bell and Danny Watkins, but they have seemed to play pretty well. Cox is also doing well. So if the team upgraded at three positions on defense, how is it possible that they are playing so much worse? If anyone has an explanation, I would love to hear it.

Yes, yes, Evilwaldo, we get it. No one likes losing, and hindsight is 20/20.

No need to post a sarcastic remark as a thread followed by, "What say you, TATE?"

This can only be considered a fishing attempt.

I predicted 10-6 or 11-5. JSB elucidated my feelings exactly. We did nothing but UPGRADE on D, but our D sucks. And I'm on record as being scared to death when the final 53 came out and there was almost NO depth on the Oline.

And right now, at this moment, I'd say part of the reason is that JC was better than Bowles. Hopefully that changes in the future.

What is it with you and asking questions in all these dumb threads man?  Are you that afraid to express an opinion or man up and express a prediction?  Ok, most of us thought this team sucked.  Some people didn't, at least they had that going for them.  Why are all your threads this kind of bs.  It's like you're playing I told you so, without ever telling people so.  Where are all the people who thought we'd win last week?  Where are all the vick lovers?  Europe exists, discuss.  What's the point man?

I’m a glass is half full kind of guy, I was hoping the team would gel as the season progressed. They didn’t really solidify as much as I hoped but they did petrify quite well.

This team has become unwatchable.

I didn't thing we'd win 10+ games but I didn't think it would this bad either. I saw us somewhere in the 8-8 range again. Even that seems like a pipe dream now.

But then I say that every year.

but I honestly thought we had a team that would show up to play football not stand there just to collect their pay checks

Agreed, the lockout shortened offseason ruined everything.

In all seriousness, I predicted an 11-5 record, and I thought I was being modest.  I really thought the D-line would be dominant and play well enough to get consistent pressure without blitzing.  I thought the offense would be in the top 10 as they usually are.

No one could've predicted just how hard the O-line would be hit by injuries, but the Eagles problems go deeper than that.  There's a lack of talent and, more importantly, a lack of heart and desire on this team.  We came out of the bye week without any fire and intensity.  I've never seen a pro team look quite this uninspired.  Where's Jeff Garcia when you need him?

I think I predicted somewhere between 9 and 10 wins.  Didn't predict a Super Bowl win.

As of today:  We might win 1 or 2 more games if we are lucky.  I say the team ends up anywhere between 3 - 13 and 5 - 11.

After this past offseason I truly thought we would have a winning season. Win the division and even be in contention of getting a first round bye. The level of disappointment is really actually hard to formulate into a cohesive statement. SO I will not even try....

I do see a long road ahead of us now though. I see a new coach coming in and there being growing pains. I just hope we do not dwindle into nothingness for the next 10-15 years like the cowboys.

Just seems unfair to not have a parade it really does!

Right here to take my medicine.
I bought the propaganda about the lockout, the coaching changes, the team needing time to develop chemistry.

If you're lucky you can come back on here tomorrow morning and change your post to 8-8 and no one will notice.  That is unless some dingle comes along and quotes your post.
