There is not one point in this season you can say they went downhill because they started out at the bottom of that hill, despite all the NovaCare hype. And it's taken the last 7 years to get there.

Reid
Got it.

What can be added? Says it all.

I absolutely can say that, because anyone who was really paying attention to this team over even the last several seasons recognized that their 3-1 start was a complete mirage, the beneficiary of some horrible bad luck (Browns LB dropping that GW INT), stupid mistakes by the opponent (Giants getting greedy & making their missed FG longer than it should have been), & the replacement refs (PI call in the Ravens game). By all rights this team should be winless.
Forget about the stupid turnovers. This is a BAD football team, plain & simple. The Lions game was just reality finally catching up to them, nothing more, nothing less.

This team is a couple field goals away from being 0-11
Things went wrong about and the downfall began about 6-7 years ago!

Face it, KO. Even though a lot of fans have awoken from their 'just-good-enough-is-still-good-enough' comas, there are certainly a lot of true believers that will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to reality.
Hell, I still hear and see people chalking this season up to injuries and bad luck, and actually suggesting idiocy like keeping Reid and hoping he can ...... wait for it ..... change.
If Lurie had an ounce of balls, he'd pull the plug on this travesty today, and get on with the business of making this franchise competitive again. As we've said over and over and over - enough is f****ng enough, already..

Yeah, there is definitely still some true believer worship out there. No point in arguing with them; they can just get caught up in the wreckage of the HindenReid.

my point is that I don't think that the egos on this team have played a major part in this years disaster
