I really hope his title as GM is just that, a title. He has no experience what so ever; he's not a football guy, and the last thing we need is for him to have full control of the Eagles organization.
I sincerely hope that Lurie hires an actual GM and simply calls that GM the Vice President and puts him above Howie in the chain of command. Does this have any chance at happening, or is Howie the H.N.I.C. ?
For those of you that don't know what H.N.I.C. means, see the movie Lean On Me.
How much power will Howie have ?

His presence will simplify the search for a new head coach. No coach with a proven track record will come here with Howie making the calls. How did he get so much power over football decisions? Did the message board run a contest and he was the winning poster?

1st check point - Does Howie get canned along with the rest of the staff - GOOD OUTCOME
2nd check point - What kind of coach do we hire?
- If it's a Gruden type, then Howie does not have final say in personnel matters - GOOD OUTCOME.
- If it's some Coordinator or college coach, then Howie is still the man in charge - HORRIBLE OUTCOME.

Hopefully none, cause hopefully he gets a pink slip with the rest of the staff, doubt it though.
But even if Roseman stays, surely Lurie isn't dumb enough to give him full reign over personnel decisions. It doesn't make any sense. Lurie stays out of personnel decisions for the most part when it comes to talent evaluation, why put a guy in charge of it with no more experience than him? Hell Lurie might as well just run the team himself if he did that, Howie is no more qualified than he is.
If Roseman stays, he will likely be promoted to team president and have control only over the salary cap negotiations similar to Joe Banner, and Lurie will hire a legitmate personnel General Manager as well as a new coach. At least, I hope so.

ROSEMAN is in over his head. I don't want him picking the next HC.

He can probably bench press about 85 pounds...

So it was Greyskull making the picks in the 2010 and 2011 drafts. I thought it was numbskull.
