Not that I like Babin at all...but if the coach is gone at season's end, seems silly for him to have control over the players and the decisions for the future.

cutting him seems like a no brainer, but to your point I am sure Howie and possibly Lurie were consulted

IMO Babin was released b/c of his attitude and the way he has embarassed the Eagles organization this year.

Amen Ike - I ripped him on twitter (with not one personal insult or profanity) he blocked me did the same to Kelce and Mathis and Celek none of them blocked me they all responded with class and sucked it up - Babin is a loser

I don't disagree with the move.  But, Andy should call players into his office in person and not do this over the phone...especially when Andy in today's conference said that he deals with players face to face when they aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing.

I think this decision came from above Reid he was just the messenger

He was tweeting and trying to sell his stupid t-shirts before the game.  Clearly he had jumped ship and wasn't focussed.
