Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora
And if I'm the Eagles and I'm going this route, I'd start the bloodletting by floating the Nnamdi contract on waivers and letting him go

Should the Eagles do this?

Yeah, this fanbase deserves absolute garbage at CB for the next 5-10 years since they're too stupid to understand that Nate Allen is the problem.

I honestly would. Nnamdi has been a bitter f'ing disapointment. Start Curtis Marsh and see what he does, whats the worse that can happen with Marsh? No worse than what Nnamdi and DRC have shown.

And let Hughes play who single handedly lost us the Lions game by letting a backup TE run all over him?

I am not saying we should, just wanted other peoples opinions. Even though Nnamdi screws up sometimes, which isn't always his fault but some of it is, he is still better than the average corner. The problem is how much he is making to be an above average corner.

And his age, Nnamdi has concrete feet now. He can't run for crap.

DRC is the only defensive back worth keeping.  Coleman, Nmadi, and Allen all need to go.  They suck.

DRC hasn't been all that great either, he get's so many PI calls. He holds a lot too and it doesn't get called sometimes.

I tried sticking up for NNamdi but I can't continue to make the same excuses for him week after week after week. The guy just isn't that good. Average at best

The whole starting secondary should be cut.

DRC is like Asante without the pics.  Offenses run at him all day because he can't tackle worth a lick.  It's not his fault he's a beanpole. I'm just saying Eagles fans deserve and NEED two CB's who can play a physical game.  Right now I'm not sure we have one on the entire roster.

I would just like to know what happened to the defense. It was playing well up until the end of the Lions game, then it was like the whole squad started taking suck @ss pills.

In any event, Nnamdi is going to be better than anyone else the Eagles can get, so they may as well keep him. Use the Babin savings to sign a decent free agent safety and draft someone in the second round to compete with Allen.

Hopefully the team will get back on track with a new regime in place.

I agree. He's contributed nothing in his time here. Total waste of money.

After Allen and Jarrett I'm not sure they should do that.

He needs to play a bit better to make it to average.  For what he is being paid, dude should be wearing a cape.

before pointing out Nnamdi, look at the safety's who always blow coverage and can't tackle. You can make all the coaching changes you want, but if the PLAYERS aren't ACCOUNTABLE, it won't even matter. Even if Bill Belichick was the coach.

No, mix in Marsh some more and maybe even put Boykin on the outside to see if he can tackle but you don't cut an average corner before the season ends.   Babin wasn't close to average, he flat out sucked.

Nnamdi stays only because we don't really have anyone behind him. With Babin, we had Hunt and Tapp, who are just as equally inept, but at a cheaper price. And if Curry shows that he can bring it every game, why keep a one trick pony.

I wouldn't call him a scapegoat. He wasn't doing his job and therefore deserved to get fired. The first of many who had it coming.

Some of these players are the ones you fans begged for last year. Now the Eagles got them and now you want to cut them? You're like a spoiled kid, you want everything but treat it like ****.
