I'm not sure the current staff is qualified to be doing any of the "evaluation" there Spuds.  They certainly aren't making any adjustments in the secondary from week to week to better this team, what makes anyone think we can rely on these "coaches" if they deserve to even call themselves coaches.....I'd say they're spectators....not coaches.....not evaluators.

Foles? Hmmm. Do you know why MM FINALLY decided to run the ball? Because Foles threw late over the middle on several occasions in the FIRST quarter with TWO passes that were easy interceptions that were dropped. He didnt throw much the rest of the game, but when he did, he held onto the ball WAY too long and...shocker....was late over the middle again...resulting in a THIRD dropped interception. Dont get me wrong. I would LOVE for Foles to be the guy, but he sure wasnt a winner at Arizona. And he hasnt won yet for the Eagles. He must improve A WHOLE LOT to be a Super Bowl or even playoff caliber QB. Thats what the franchise is searching for, right? I know you all hate me for saying it, but I rather see Vick go in Sunday and finish off the Cowboys. I seriously detest that team. Put the BEST players on the field that give you the BEST chance to WIN! Evaluate in practice!

I hope Dallas plays a lot of zone on Sunday night because Avant will be playing and he's pretty good against zone defenses but he is usually ineffective against man coverage because he possess below average speed. He's another guy that gets a lot of snaps but doesn't really have an impact on the games.  In the NFL, you need WR's who are quick, can catch, break tackles, tough and have good feet. Avant only possess two of those qualities and he doesn't threaten the defense down the seam. I guess because he's a nice guy he gets a pass but he doesn't do anything except for make a first down here and there and he keeps Riley Cooper from getting snaps. The pass rush should be improved with Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham getting more snaps at DE. Its seems like every WR who can run a little is an outside WR for us, its almost like the slot guy has to be slow. I wish the Giants had the same philosophy so Boykin wouldn't have to go against Cruz. This team does not think outside of the box, we don't consistently threaten all 3 levels of the defense on offense that's why a Tampa 2 defense usually shuts down our offense. Our WR's struggle to get open because the play calling lacks creativity its an old playbook that worked when in the 1980's when LBs and S were slower than in today's game.

None of us can understand why this defense is sooooo bad, but it is. Beg D LeBeau to drive over and coach the D. Find a good OC. Keep Reid.  And win a SB already!

Andy would be cool to keep if we had a real coaching staff, but that's currently my worry,.. M&M's sucks.

AR needs to go he was a great coach but we need someone new and fresh. I think AR needs to take a break from the game take a yr or 2 off spend it with his family then come back better then ever. Plus AR will not get rid of MM to get a new OC we need a new HC

I don't think ANYBODY could coach our safeties to be any better than mediocre.

With Shady and Brown i'd try the read option with a wildcat twist meaning instead of lining up a QB in the backfield I would use two or three HB's in the backfield. The read option is difficult to defend with a QB and two RBs imagine 3 HBs standing next to each other in the wildcat formation but the play is run with read option concepts. Who is getting the ball? Who would the defense key on?

Eagles need to start playing alot of the younger guys getting them more snaps. Get Curtis Marsh out there starting see what he can do along side DRC can't get any worse then nnamdi out there.
Thorton should get more snaps at DT,David Sims at S,Casey Matthews at WILL etc.

Shady might not play again this week it might be all Bryce again which i think will be good for him. i wish Polk was healthy i would like to see those to work together as a 1-2 punch

dave.... one issue with that option plan is the D would be pretty damn sure we aren't throwing and going to stack the line to stop the run

Dr funt, the Eagles DO suck at zone defense. So WHY do they keep playing it SO much?

Matthews looked good in the limited playing he got vs the Steelers. Matthews needs another chance can't just throw him away because of the unfair spot he was put in his rookie season

Truely i want to move up Ryan Rau from PS and play him at WILL but that is unlikely to happen so i'll settle to see matthews in action this yr.
