Eagles will have number 1 overall pick?

Is it bad to want the eagles to lose out the rest of the games and root for the KC and Jags to win games? Both these teams have winnable games coming up.
If we do get top 5 or #1 overall who do we get in this draft?

NO chance they ge tthe #1 pick. The Chiefs aren't going to win another game this year. We will be in the top 5 though.

The Chiefs are bad. But their next three games are against other bad teams. So there's some hope they could pull out 2 of those get up to 3 wins...but i doubt it. It would take a lot of luck for the Eagles to move up to #1, but all of the teams either tied or below the eagles (except JAX) play at least one (if not two or three) games against other teams in this group. So they can't ALL loose out. If the eagles end up 3-13, that should be at worst the #3 pick... if not the #2 (but probably not the #1 unless they win the tiebreaker of a 3-13 KC).

If 2 teams have the sane record, how do they decide which one picks first?

Strength of Schedule is the first tiebreaker.

Quote
• Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage. The team with the lowest strength of schedule percentage wins the tiebreaker and picks ahead of all other teams with the same record.
• Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.
• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.
The Eagles are bad but the Chiefs and Jaguars are worse. Those are your #1 & #2 overall picks.

I'm not so sure the Jags won't pull off another win with Henne at QB though.
With the current strength of schedule tiebreaker we'd pick #2 if that was the case. Obviously, that can still change though.

There is a whole subforum for discussing who you think the Eagles should draft. (I Want The Eagles To Get).
They will likely draft 3rd, 4th or 5th. Unless they take the top Offensive lineman in the draft they should trade down to later in the round and collect an additional 2nd round pick. Get the best O lineman and safeties you can and whatever else you need.

Even if we got it what are doing with the 1st pick that we can't get at 3? Cheifs for sure taking a QB even if none should be in the top 20. Their need out weights the draft board.

You really don't have to wish them to lose because they are going to lose the rest of the way. KC and Jags will probably win a few more games, as a matter of fact both of those teams could probably beat the Eagles. That's how bad the Eagles are at this point. They are truely the Worst team in the NFL.
It is what it is.

No QB is worth the #1 pick in this draft. None of them deserve a top 10 pick. Kansas City will end up trading down with a team that wants Manti Teo or Luke Joekel.

It'll go like this... the best player in the draft will fall into our laps. Then, right as you high-five your friends at your pathetic Eagles draft party, Goodell will step to the podium and announce a name you've never heard before and most draft experts will have to page through their notes to find something to say about the guy.

With the 4th pick in this years draft the Philadelphia Eagles select "Defensive End Trevardo Williams" 6-2 233 from CT -- Scouts call him the Ultimate SPEEDBALL lol. Jesus Christmas - not another midget defensive end.

Cleveland, Kansas City and Oakland all still face each other, so two of those three teams have to win at least one more game, maybe two.
Carolina is good enough to win another game. They play KC and Oakland... They should win both of those games, taking them completely out of this conversation.
#2 pick is not outside the realm of possibility.
#1 would be a stretch.
#3 is not all that unlikely. I don't see the Eagles winning any more games.
