Anyone else scared that Howie is going to F this team up?

Why does Lurie think he is some special talent? He has no NFL experience and his drafts suck. I'm so worried about the future of the Eagles if this clown remains the GM.

That horse has left the barn already, sadly.

As much as Howie has missed on some things you have to give him credit for this past years draft. Cox looks like a player as does Kendricks, Curry is going to be a good pass rusher for years to come, and Boykin is probably our slot corner for a long time, and Bryce Brown was a huge hit in the 7th round. Foles is still a bit of a question mark but he did a pretty good job in this years draft.

Why does everyone assume that Howie is the one calling the shots ? Yes, he's the GM, but the GM (even when Heckard was here) was never a GM in the traditional sense. The GM runs the team, has final say in personnel decisions, and is above the coach in the chain of command. With the Eagles the Executive Vice President of Football Operations fills that role, and now that role is Andy's role. When he's gone, that position needs to be filled.

Great point. The Eagles had a strong draft this year which is overshadowed by poor drafts in previous years and, of course, the debacle that this season became.

It's altogether possible that a coach comes in here and sets up an offense/defense that the players already here can succeed. Of course there will be some bloodletting, but you can't possibly make an educated decision on a player based on a coach/system that has two feet already out the door.
I'm not calling for any player's head around here until the next coach signs up for some Brotherly Love.
Everything I just posted goes out the window if Gruden comes here. He'll make sure all the talent is gone and gets backfilled with old lazy veterans who don't want to play anymore.

Stupid to think he was going to come from being a Lawyer to a GM seamlessly. That's not his fault, and whoever hired him, if they had any brains, would know that. Which is why he still has his job today. Thanks, come again.

You need to hire back Marc Ross and allow him to hire the new Coach and rebuild the Scouting Dept.
Roseman is also accountable for this mess and needs to be let go to rid all semblance of the Reid era.
