Anyway, I don't think Foles will be able to lock in a starting job for next year unless he plays lights out the rest of the season. Improvement is what's to look for in a guy who is starting just his third game. If he does light it up, that will be very promising, but it doesn't guarantee he'll be the starter. For more on this, check out Matt Flynn and the Seattle Seahawks.

What makes you think he's going to show anything to make us think he's going to be our starter next year. He's a project and will take a long time to develop. Something he can do in practice...
Go get Alex Smith!!!

i agree but i think your going waaay too far with the nothing that happens is his fault. come on he has to have some type of accountability. it would be nice if he stopped throwing the ball across his body that makes him look real bad you would think he would atleast know he cant do that. and i would like him to show some signs that hes catching up to the speed of the game instead of all his throws being late and last but not least stop throwing into triple coverage

How about no. Plenty of rookie QBs are playing with crap O-Lines. Foles should be able to make do.

So if Foles has plenty of time in the pocket and overthrows an open receiver for an interception it's not his fault??

No coaching staff is going to write a player off after just three games . And certainly not at the QB position, Or when the team is decimated with injuries to their entire O line. And minus their two top players of Jackson and McCoy.

Foles at least has youth on his side. With the right coaching staff could turn out to be better than expected. I'm sure any coach worth their salt will take into consideration the minimal experience he has had at this level, before writing him off. Unlike the biased fans .

Aikman was sacked 11 times in that game.I think we can hold them to 10 or less.
