Eagles inactives: Healthy McNutt not suiting up
December 2, 2012, 7:23 pm
Marvin McNutt was finally signed to the Eagles’ 53-man roster last week but he’s still waiting for his NFL debut.
The rookie wide receiver, who was promoted from the practice squad Friday, is among the team’s inactives for tonight’s nationally televised game between the Eagles and Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.
Those who won’t play for injury reasons are quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy (concussions) and running back Chris Polk (foot). Healthy scratches are McNutt, wide receiver Greg Salas and offensive guard/tackle Nate Menkin.
Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who left the team Thursday to attend a funeral, is with the team and active. Cox had sustained a tailbone injury Monday night against Carolina but is expected to play.
The Eagles have four active wide receivers: Riley Cooper, Damaris Johnson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant.
