Vick usually accounts for 5-10 rushing attempts.. So we may have actually been more balanced.. Another difference was they commited to the run often and early.
I'm still a HUGE Vick fan.. But I like they way Foles is improving.. He made a few very accurate passes.. The one to Avant was on the money.. He's also getting the ball out fast at the top of his drop. I hope this kid turns into something. Either way he's the guy now.

No one know how good this guy will ultimately be long term but if you don't like what you are seeing so far you are clueless. This guy is making plays with a patchwork OL and missing two of this teams best offensive players. A defense that couldn't stop a high school team. I ask you to show me a rookie that has ever been in this situation and shown this much promises. The list of rookies that had to play on bad teams and never made a career are long when thrust into this very type of situation. Wake up people. He is not Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, he is Nick Foles. I am exicted to see him in the next few years. Now go fix this terrible defense/secondary.
P.S. Bryce Brown is the real deal. He can fix ball security issues and then watch out.

Why is it you only like black QB's? It's clear that you're a racist. There is a reason that this years draft for QB's is considered one of the worst since the 2007 draft.
huh, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I like geno because he is talanted. He has the skill and stats to back it up.
And just because its a weak class doesnt mean the top guy is bad and not a potential franchise QB. Geno stats are comparble to andrew luck and RG3s coming out of college. Do some research instead of spouting off about the color of a player.

The most important thing is Foles is smart - he can learn and improve unlike the starting QBs the eagles have had in the past 15 years.

I thought Foles looked very good. I was pleasantly surprised he actually overthrew Maclin on a long pass.
He STILL stares down his receiver and predetermines where he's gonna throw the ball. On the goalline he had BB WIDE THE HELL OPEN for the 2 point conversion. Instead he pretty much said "I'm gonna force the ball to Avant. I don't care what the coverage is." and threw it incomplete.
But there were some great throws he made. In particular there was a beautifully timed deep out pass over a corner and in front of the safety to Maclin.

There are no doubts he has things to improve on...and that's really the question...how hard and driven is he to fix his little errors.

Is Foles good enough to make you forget about drafting a qb next year? I know there are not any blue chip qb prospects out there but still we will have a top 5 pick and our choice of any we want. Is foles showing enough to make us pass on them?
