Last night just proved it once and for all.  Led the team to 33 points where Vick's season high was 24.  The team is averaging over 20 points a game in Foles starts, more than Vick starts, with less turnovers.

Not to mention Foles is playing without his starting center and RT, pro bowl RB and number one WR, something Vick had for most of the year.

Foles may not be winning games right now, but the defense has gotten much worse since Castillo wad fired.

Foles also seemsto be getting better in his starts, whereas Vick has gotten worse over the previous few seasons.

Sure Vick may have been better for six starts two years ago, but at this point in their careers, Foles > Vick.

He has also taken less sacks, due to play calling balance but also the fact that he gets rid of the ball faster and moves around better in the pocket

He has better pocket awareness, better accuracy than any quarterback we've had in the last 10 years besides Garcia. At this point, Vick is useless to this team.

Balanced running game > Pass happy offense with subpar OL

Thats what last night proved.

Vick can audible to a run, you see Foles making presnap signals.

But no, Vick just wants to be selfish and pass pass pass or run it himself.

You're kind of reaching, but its cool.  I acknowledge that Foles is getting smarter.  Havent seen enough to say he is better than Vick yet, but I will acknowledge the progress he is making.

Im with those that say you cant make snap judgements either way.  He is doing a bit better with an awful team than I thought he would, but just a bit...still hasnt won a game.

"Last night proved it once and for all huh? in a losing effort... thats what you believe? really?

Some of you only see what you want to see! selective memory. Vick played well in some of the games they lost this year, and games last year! the losses weren't on him in many of them! all of the losses that we had the lead in late in the 4th... is a bad defense... and had we been able to hold on in those games, nobody would be criticizing Vick! even though his numbers wouldn't have changed. you people are going by the teams record and singling out the QB! don't act like Vick is just getting worse and worse every single outing... has he met expectations? NO. he's had both up's and downs. but HEY, LOOK AROUND!!! so has Drew Brees (last game 5 int's) Brady, Rodgers, Eli... Everybody does!
Foles looks better... BECAUSE IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO LOOK ANY WORSE! of course he looks better! look what you're comparing it to!

LAst night proved nothing! we LOST! and the Cowboys stink btw...

Thats what last night proved.

The Eagles ran the ball 1 less time than their season average against the Cowboys.

Try again.

And how was it a balanced run game when they passed the ball almost 10 times more than they ran it? They had a 60% pass ratio.

God you guys are stupid. How about you guys wait till your savior wins a game before trying to compare him to a guy who hasn't lost a nfc  east game that he wasn't injured in and who has accomplished much more in this league. You make yourself look stupid.

6 games in 2010 bought Vick a year and a half struggling to get the team to 500, hopefully to prove to us that he's not the answer. Those that want to see Vick start do so out of some love for Vick, not wanting what's best for the Eagles. And that includes Reid. If he starts Vick, it clouds the value this team has at QB going into the OS.  Andy isn't going into the OS. I think he's already done things to sabotage the team. But this would be too obvious to overlook. Lurie would have to step in, or this team could be setback for the 2013 draft.

OK Pittsburg and Detroit... Vick had similar or better numbers than the opposing QB (Stafford and Rothlesburger)

VS. Pittsburg- Vick had better numbers than Big Ben- Vick   20 for 30 175 yards   2 TD's no int's
Ben R. 22 for 38 220 yards   1 TD    no int's
(if you just want to go by numbers, less yards but more td's and better comp. ratio)

VS. Detroit - Vick  had similar if not better than Stafford   Vick   28 for 46 311 yards   2td's   2 int's
  Stafford 22 for 45   311 yards   1td 1 int

Now what does all this say? that Vick played just as well if not better than the franchise QB's that he faced here, but Eagles lost. both games Eagles lead late in the 4th and Defense collapsed. really, should have been wins!
the thing is, you want to say Vick just stunk the place up and just gets worse every week and it's just not true.
i'll tell you what, if Andy called the game all along like he did in Dallas last night... we'd be talking about home field advantage in playoffs right now instead of the friggen draft!

Vick also fumbled on the 1 yd line vrs Pitt and also only led the team to 14 points, personally I dont think that is good.

Against Det Vick threw a bad INT in the fourth, and also got the ball back latei n the fourth, could of iced the game, but went 3 and out.  He then got the ball first in OT and went three and out, personally I think he choked.

Funny how you blame it all on the defense in those loses, when the defense basically won the first game of the season and made key stops vrs Balt and NYG on their final drives of the game, you cant rely on them at the end of the fourth in every game.

Ok.  Effective running game.  I agree, there is a difference between effective and balanced play calling.

One game people, it goes both ways. You can't crucify him after one game and you can't crown him after one game. He is getting better with each start though, so I'm excited to see how he does these next few games knowing he'll be the starter for the rest of the season.

Wow!  Because they scored 33 points...Didn't know Foles scored on our 1st non-Offensive TD of the year(punt return).  Your logic is quite amusing.  Yes, Foles played a lot better last night but a majority in here a week ago had not much to say.

all these runs earlier in the season came when we were trailing in the 2nd half when the defense was playing soft coverage, we never had a balanced attack until now

Have you noticed Bryce Brown's performance the last two games ? That's the difference. What do you think would've happened had Andy only called five running plays in the first half last night like he routinely did when Vick was in the game ?

Balance gameplan > a pass-happy one

Vick still > than Foles.

You are speaking to people who are going to hate Vick no matter what, so I wouldn't waste my time pointing these things out. People hate that man and want him gone so Foles is their savior. Yet, reid decides NOW to call a balanced game and Foles looks like a franchise QB already.

SMH, I could care less at this point who starts at QB. I just want the fat man completely gone
