Chiefs, Jaguars, Panthers, Raiders, Eagles vying for first overall pick

That is one hell of a group we are in.  So much for the Gold Standard.

Should be re-named the BROWN Standard (as in stains, not Cleveland)

This team is so dysfunctional, they can't even collapse in the right season.  They finally moved from depressing to embarrassing and there's no franchise QB available at the top of the draft.

So true.... someone wrote on here earlier that if this collapse had only happened last year we would have had a real legit shot @ RG III

Not a great draft class either, except for NT's

People keep saying this yet most mock drafts have QBs like Geno Smith and Matt Barkley as top 25 picks in the draft. Regardless though, a high pick is still a high pick. I say take the best player available. If that's not a QB so be it.

There has to be an impact player at some position of need. It's not like they're short of positions of need.

Agreed.  They are in a good position to get a very good player.  Can't wait to see who it is!

I can't wait to see what type of defensive scheme they are going to be running.

We had the #6 pick in the draft with four games left and won all four.  The Redskins ended up at #6 and traded up for RGIII.  So there's your lesson, kids.....Keep sucking until you can't suck anymore ... If you're good at sucking... ....Let the Redskins beat you.

I would like to beat the Bucs and then the Bengals and then the Redskins and then the Giants and I want Foles to shine and these young players to continue to mature and make progress

They need to play every freaking kid they have and lose every game winning 2 out of the last 4 to save face and  finishing 5-11 and the 6th pick is just plain stupid when they could get #1 or #2 and make something happen with a pick or trades and restock this mess

What does that do for us?  Put us in no man's land again with a worse pick an no playoffs - last year we heard all about the momentum of winning the last 4 and look what that got us - Fool's Gold and no changes

If the Eagles were going to win and get on a roll this is the time they'll do it. Oh the fail around here is impressive.

I know you're paid to actually think that, but do you have to just come out and say something so absurdly contrary to anything resembling common sense???

Yeah, that'd be just great - go from a top 3 pick and properly starting the rebuild, to the middle of the pack, "retooling" (again!), and giving Lurie even more of an out to bring the clown back ..... again.

If, of course, he hasn't already decided to do just that.

I'm actually starting to worry about that. And if you can believe it, there are still people in TATE proclaiming how great a coach he is, & how "we'd be back in the Kotite years" without him.

I want the Eagles to win out too, but I'd also like to have the #1 or #2 pick in the draft next year.
