Washburn firing and the stories coming out of his undermining juan, if true are the nail in the coffin. That and the fact the defense has gotten worse. Not just slightly but absolutely in every way worse. Worse in the league in fact. When Juan was here we were middling.

Andy made the wrong decision letting Juan go. Of all the things a coach can do to affect the game that he has absolute control over it's his staff. Here was a definite blunder. Washburn the cancer should have been gone at first sign of trouble, not Juan. Replacing Juan was a reactionary move. Knee Jerk.

If in fact true the undermining culture and the cancer it creates probably has lead to the malaise we are seeing in the players. I don't care what you say about "the effort being there". The joke tackling effort in the redzone doesnt mesh with that. DRC should be cut. The season is lost. Examples need to be made. People who quit on this team need to be gone.

Do you agree? Specifically with those who quit on the team.

Reason to be fired.... sure.

There are a ton of reasons why he should be fired.... this just adds to the growing list.

I agree @patpikuna but this one IMO is irrefutable. I mean the coach is responsible for his decisions related to his staff. The buck stops with Andy. This one decision imo really torpedoed the season. You can't argue with an average defense with room for improvement morphed into historically bad.

Add to that rumors of Washburn's behavior....

With the host of other reasons I kind of feel bad for Andy. The personnel is awful. I really do believe this team stopped valuing character at some point. . .

I agree 100%.... this year and all his recent personnel moves have been a disastrous debacle.

Things have gottten progressively worse since 2005. Lotsa strange moves and an era that has been way too chaotic

I will talk about it when the season is done. Chaotic way to end the season, indeed. I agreed with decision to let Juan go at the time so I'm not going to change now. He should not have been D coordinator in the first place, let's be honest.

The "Juanita" stuff...Jesus.  He either knew and didn't act or wasn't aware how bad the situation was.  Either explanation speaks volumes.

Reid sickens me. It used to just be on a football level with regard to his "philosophy". I'm extremely sad to say that has now extended to a personal level. How anyone could allow that kind of bulls*** to happen to someone they supposedly consider a close friend & do nothing about it, all because of this man's massive ego makes my blood pressure shoot through the roof.

He can't get the f*** out of here fast enough.

Dave- When will everybody quit blaming the coaching and realize that our players suck?  They are the reason this team sucks, not coaching.  Please don't tell me you still think DeSean and Maclin are a dangerous 1, 2 punch.  Maybe a 2,3 punch but neither are a #1 WR in the NFL, and I don't think it's even close.  Everybody calls Shady a superstar but what has he done?  His big year last year led us nowhere, not even a playoff game!  Celek is NOT a #1 NFL TE!!  Nnamdi is one of the worst football players I have ever seen!

Please tell me why we need to discuss coaching over lack of talent on the roster!

If Washburn actually acted like reports say, where were the players to step up and tell him he's an idiot!!  How can this go on in what is supposed to be a professional organization?  Washburn, your D got worse without Juan!  Your Wide 9 scheme is the dumbest thing I have ever seen!  You will never have a job in the NFL again.

Thanks for coming clean on that.... you figured out ways to pump up the move at the time it happened when everyone on here knew it didn't pass the eyeball or common sense test.

how about players who quit on the team. The DRC "tackle" attempt is about the worse effort I have ever seen. The game was close. Winnable. There for the taking and thats the effort? Gripping up and letting a WR run you into the end zone? I'd rather see him take a shot and miss then grip up and be ridden into the endzone like a turnstyle.

Unforgiveable for a pro football player in this town. (making millions) he got paid what I make in what a month for that one single play? No excuse. None.
