I agree with everything you just said. It's actually spot on to be quite honest. Me personally, I think Foles will be fine. Just need to figure out the new coach and what he does to get it back on track.

i'm still undecided on Foles. I thought  he made some nice throws vs Dallas, but then again everyone does these days. I think Foles has all the measurables..just have to wait and see how he develops. Like I said if you guys hit on Foles, you could  compete next year IF the front office does a good job in FA and the draft....i'm starting to think Andy is coming back, lol

Dallas is missing 6 starters on defense, and I challenge anyone to show me any defense missing 6 starters that is worth a ish, if Dallas was healthy on defense, they might win this sorry division, not because they are better than NY, but because down the stretch they had the easier schedule, but with Lee and Carter out at ILB people are just running routes across the middle all day and we can't stop it, and with 5 of the front 7 out, teams are running on us like crazy, the Eagles and Skins did the same thing....ran on us and then play action faked and threw over our LB's,.....combine that with a pourous OL and Dallas is done.

Next year Dallas needs to find 3 new o-lineman, Tyron Smith is good at LT and Nate Livings is ok at 1 OG spot, if they can retool that OL and add some depth, I think Dallas can win 10 games next year, those are the big things they need, another pass rusher could take their defense to a new level, and a 3rd WR would be nice

What would lead you to think that?

At best I think maybe they reach a deal where he (wink, wink) "resigns" as oppossed to being canned at the end of the year but that's it.

I've had a feeling for awhile, because people ignore the part of Lurie's 8-8 interview where he said that if the team suffers a lot of injuries that it would factor into his declaration that 8-8 is not good enough. That and the report last week that had Howie and current QB coach Doug Peterson out scouting players at college games, Andy riding with Foles, the report that Howie. not Andy is the one who wanted the whole wide-9 thing...I just have a feeling.

I tend to agree...if he was going to be gone at the end of the season, why would Lurie still allow him free reign with the coaching staff and players...that would be for the new HC to do

Even so, I'm still extremely pessimistic and would put the odds at far less than 50 - 50, but if it did happen we all had better get ready for the EMB "to currently be unavailable for maintenace" for awhile.

oh yeah, I'd have the odds a far less than 50% too...just kind of going on a hunch. I'm hoping maybe the Eagles beating NY and Washington down the stretch will save his job

.

Reid is certainly acting like a man who believes he's not going anywhere..
