There is no such thing as an Eagles fan being spoiled.  It simply can't exist, kinda like a sports car that actually produces gasoline the more you drive it.

Also, those 11-5 and 10-6 years were complete shams. They were probably the worst 11-5 team in NFL history that one year. They lost to every good team they played and were exposed in the playoffs both years. They basically padded their stats by beating up on a bunch of mediocre to bad teams. And, of course, we all know how misleading last year's record is.

Reid is too predictable and just hyped up at this point. He traditionally doesn't beat teams that are good, and now he isn't even beating teams that are bad. He brings the same predictable game plans every week. Its stale. He is a good guy and probably needs a fresh start just like the fan base needs a fresh start. He would probably be happier in a more positive market anyway.

Let's say that we win out for the sake of the argument. Is 6-10, 10-6,8-8, and 9-6-1 really that much better than 11-5,10-6,8-8, and 9-7 ? That's eight years which is the majority of his career. The majority of his career has obviously been mediocre. The National Media lacks the stones to point that out, and considering the train-wreck this season has become, it's time for Andy to move on.

in 2010 andy had vick playing better then he has ever played. vick couldnt sustain it and has failed.

Either way it cant be argued that philly was  an attractive destination for players to come to.   That all changed with lurie, and building the linc and hiring reid.  Please lets never compare him to kotite again, or even bring up that wretched name.

His record four the last four seasons will be worse than Kotite's, and Kotite was in a much tougher era in the division. The powder puff NFC is what made Philly an attractive place for players to come, not Andy.

Let's be realistic about this, the team has been marginal to average since the Super Bowl appearance which seems like decades and decades ago. Only 3 playoff wins since then, 3 seasons with 10 or more wins since then, and Reid has proven time and time again that he's not a very good game day coach. Stop with the be careful what you wish for crap because that's a cop out for people who are scared of the unknown. That's for the people who act like nobody else can come in and coach this team. Why are people acting like Reid's the only one that can come in and coach this team? Reid's not gonna turn this team around because the team has stopped responding to him.

People are scared that somebody's gonna come in and do what Reid hasn't been able to do. I don't know why people act like keeping Reid guarantees the team will be turned around and I don't know why they act like getting rid of Reid guarantees struggles.
