Trade down in first round to acquire an additional 2nd round pick


1*- Taylor Lewan - OT - Michigan - Starts at RT for the next decade
2- Anthony Barr - OLB - UCLA - Tremendous talent, can blitz, cover, and tackle. A complete linebacker.
2*- Jackson Jeffcoat - DE - Texas - 1st round talent, replaces Babin on roster. Forms good combo with Graham and Curry.
3- Kenny Vacarro - S- Texas- Upgrade over Kurt Coleman, can cover and tackle
4- Logan Ryan - CB - Rutgers- tons of potential, Nnamdi Replacement of the Future
5- Daniel McCullers - DT- Tennessee- Huge 377 pound DT with run stopping ability, a bit raw though
6- Marquess Wilson - WR - Washington State - Big receiver fills red zone need, 2nd round talent
7- ?

Vaccaro is a fringe 1st rounder possible second rounder. I doubt he falls to the 3rd. Safety needs to be addressed ASAP. Top 5 pick is too early to address safety in this draft, but they could trade back and get Vaccaro and maybe Elam.

Vacarro will go by early second, dont understand the Lewan love, but I do love the Marquess Wilson pic as I am an hour north of WAZZU....

Joeckel should be the 1st OT off the board, I love Barr and Vaccarro but both will most likely go round 1

Offense has been our biggest problem, and you draft almost all D.

Our defense under Castillo was much better than it is under Bowles, our D can produce, I think our offense needs to follow.

But a defensive minded team can be good if we can force turnovers and stop offenses.

Vaccaro is a top-20 player... MIGHT slide into the second, but even that is doubtful. Should be the first safety off the board, or one of the first 2-3.

Need a QB somewhere in there to replace Vick as No. 2 on the depth chart, unless you think we go and get someone in FA.

Seen most mocks have him in the early 2nd, however there have been a few that put him in the late first. Nothing before #23 though. I think its a fairly safe assumption to make him a 2nd rounder.

Second is fine... third is a stretch

Scouts Inc. has him rated 17th player overall, Kiper has him at 20. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he is the first safety taken, and somewhere in the top 20. Also wouldn't be surprised to see him slide to the 30-40 range, but can't see him falling farther than that barring injury or off-the-field problems.

Lets put it this way. If this actually happened I wouldn't be mad but yeah no way Vaccaro falls that far. If he does then that's not good news.

At least you didn't trade half our roster for 1 round picks like most haha
