Is to unload a whole bunch of talented players that are suffering because they had Vick as their QB and Reid as their coach. I just feel like some players need a new voice and scheme rather than a pink slip. Like I had mentioned previously, we have a bunch of defensive players that are playing out of position and we have vertical offensive receivers that are playing in a west coast short passing system. Our team as a whole is actually built to play in a dome but we play on grass. What you are seeing is a bunch of bad decisions that have culminated into what we have on the field now. I just feel like we need to look at each players and what they bring to whatever scheme we plan to play and go from there rather than from past performance. I don't think past performance is the best indicator for some of these guys......

I agree 100%. Now that Babin I'd be fine with keeping most of the players we have.

I agree. Upgrade the safeties, tho. And get a defensive coach who wont take this constant out of position bs.

I say leave the cornerbacks, get back our injured OL, Celek is fine, and good luck finding some decent safeties out there.

Totally agree. DRC and Coleman need to go though. I don't understand why Allen is playing so bad either I had real high hopes

no i disagree. These players are 100% of the Eagles problem, you could have Vince Lombardi coordinate with Parcells and Bellechick and they couldnt win 6 games. Nnamdi, DRC, Cullen Jenkins are literally stealing money from Jeff Lurie.

nate, jurt and DRC must be replaced and we need a starter at LB.

Thats our top problems, at the moment. if foles keeps improving and can win a game and get us out of draft position for geno, then the QB problem is not so much of a problem. Then we can target manti te'o right there, so that leaves Ss and CB. Gotta get 2 in free agency. Sign a S and CB, target another S at the top of the 2nd round.

This with an actual capable DC and things would look alot better.

Allen has to play SS to cover up for Colemans severe lack of talent. When there's a deep ball TD, you'll almost always see #42 right there. It's because he has no instincts or ball skills, but he's so physically limited he can't play SS. Then you have Allen, who is a coverage FS, being played out of position. He isn't a good tackler, but he's being used in the box and in run support because Coleman would get obliterated in that role. Allen get's a bad rap on here, but the reality is, is that he would be better at FS than SS.

So let me get this straight.

The worst thing the FO can do is to get rid of this group of losers who are only great in their own eyes and can barely squeek out 3 wins and quit on their Coach, Fans, City, and Teammates.

Got it!!!

OP is a ****ot.

Safety needs an immediate massive upgrade.  Its hard to not vomit watching DRC's tackling effort and want him on the team next year.  The secondary as a whole needs a serious shakeup

I agree.  Babin's already gone thankfully.  There are a handful of players that should go no matter what, but there is talent on the team that I believe has been infected by the culture of the organization over the last several years.  There is young talent to develop also.

I'd like to see what a new Executive VP of Football Operations and a new Head Coach would want to do.

The worst things the organization could do this offseason:

Not make any attempt to improve at safety.

Actually, the worst thing they can do is retain Vick.

Not addressing these issues:

SS, move Allen back to FS

RT/Depth - although depth may be a scheme issue with a new scheme depth may not be a problem

CB - depends on what DRC wants as a contract AND if he's gonna play or collect money if given a contract I'd expect not alot up front and structured so that we can get out within the 1st year if needed

LB - not sold on jordan

WR - Not sure if cooper can be #2, I'd like bowe to be #1 and DJax #2 wont be cheap though

I've noticed a whole lot of people whining about how the Eagles got rid of Asante (also a dreadful tackler)

I guarantee if we get rid of DRC, we will see the same thing next year.

Mark my words, we unload these players and teams pick them up and they will do well... In many cases, they will end up screwing the Eagles when they play on the field.

Yup. In this case Eagles fans really should be careful what they wish for.

the last thing we can do this offseason is think by possibly moving on from reid, vick, and a few coaches that these group we have is good enough to win it all

I would like to see another safety to replace Coleman, 2 new defensive lineman(draft??) and one legit strong side lineback and put Kendricks at WLB which should be his spot. Kendrick did an admirable job at SLB but he could dominate at WLB. I see him as a Lance Briggs like at WLB.

Some degree of addition by subtraction is necessary. Who are the young players supposed to respect and emulate? Kurt Coleman sucks but I don't question his effort. Guys who jog after ball carriers and get bulldozed into the end zone need to go.

The worse thing is bringing Andy and Marty back here and getting rid of vick, if vick takes a pay cut they should keep him around just to see how he do with new coaches and a new O-line.

It shows when he's interviewed, or quoted. He doesn't make excuses, and hasn't all year. He's one of the players you can guarantee is playing his heart out every down. Speculating, sure, but I bet he's screaming at softies in the locker room.

http://www.csnphilly...?blockID=806537

Cullen Jenkins has had enough.

"I'm so mad right now. Out of all the losses, it feels like I'm more angry right now than any of them," Jenkins said after the Eagles suffered their seventh straight loss, 30-22 to Carolina (see Instant Replay).

"I'm so pissed off right now I can't even explain it. By the end of the game, I'm just ready to fight. Over and over again -- golly, we've got to give ourselves something. Ourselves, the coaches, the fans -- we've got to put on a performance -- do something. Seven straight now? Gol-ly. It's just hard to comprehend that."

It's hard to comprehend how the Eagles allowed tight end Gary Barnidge and wide receiver Brandon LaFell to get wide open for early touchdowns.

"It's tough to say. You can sit there and speculate," Jenkins said. "I'm not going to really get into what's going on in other areas of the team, but as D-linemen, I guess we've got to put it on our shoulders to be more the face of the defense. Just help out more -- keep trying, keep trying, keep trying -- do whatever we can to make more meaningful plays, turnovers -- whatever. That's all we can do is focus on what we can do better for the team."
