Dave, the Eagles really need to jettison the entire DB corp but I doubt that would be possible. Has any NFL team ever changed the entire starting defensive backfield from one year to the next year? I really can't see how we can start any of these guys next year. I can't see starting either of the safeties for sure but we could keep one of them as a bench backup guy. I know Nnamdi's cap hit means he's probably back,so DRC would be the out guy.

Not one player in the secondary deserves to be the starter next year. http://www.csnphilly...9513&feedID=692

I would say that it's impossible to replace all four, but given the contract situations, yeah, there is going to be some change in personnel in 2013. What that may be, I don't know. There is so much up in the air with this team moving ahead.

Ray Rhodes as the DB's coach of the Forty Niners asked Walsh to draft 3 rookies in the secondary in 1981 I think, and Walsh did it for him.........I'm pretty sure all 3 of them eventually made the pro bowl (Lott, Wright, Williamson).
3 out of 4 can be done, and done well....if you've got the eye for talent.

Namndi needs to go. He has clearly lost a step and he plays up on the wr but then he doesnt jam them. I thought that was his specialty? DRC needs to be motivated. He has the talent and physical ability. I think Allen will benefit greatly from going away from the wide nine. I think we need another starter at corner and safety.
