It's a shame that it's all a scheme fit. I'm not so sure Mathis will continue to be dominant without Mudd next season.

Truth. You're going to play differently, and with a different comfort level, when you're playing between Bell and Reynolds than when you're playing between Kelce & Peters.

Agreed. He was getting worked early.

You can't do anything if your center can't block. Kelce can't pass block.

Another wasted draft pick.

Of course it is. You'll have those "I know football more than you" guys who come in here and list the weights of a bunch of centers in the league and compare them to Kelce's, with their conclusion being Kelce is right there or not far off. Just for some perspective, here are some questions.
Who is bigger: Asante Samuel or Brandon Boykin? Who is bigger: Vinny Curry or Trent Cole? And finally, who is bigger: Nate Allen or Brian Dawkins? It's about body type, it's about how you play. When you look at Kelce, you know he's too small. I don't care what his NFL.com or PE.com profile says, he's small. He can't pass block. That's it. Not saying he can't be a backup, but going into 2013 as Jason Kelce as your day-1 starter is stupid to me.

This line can be back to above average IF Peters and Kelce come back healthy. Draft another Tackle and maybe add a guard in FA then we will be in business.
My hopes for next years line - Peters, Herremans, Kelce, FA, Draft Pick
Add someone in FA to duke it out in camp with Watkins or trade this POJ. Also wouldn't mind keeping Dennis Kelly in the roataion for camp competition.

Hopefully the Eagles will get back to solid, big lineman in 2013. Dunlap may get better with a different line coach, he is big enough to block anyone, he just needs to learn technique.
I was not a big fan of the smaller but faster lineman, we play too many NFC East teams with bull pash rushers that will just blow our lineman up. Get back to the Tra, Runyan, Andrews and Jackson days.
