Eagles injury update: McCoy, Vick remain sidelined

Nothing has changed regarding the medical conditions of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy, head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday.
Each will miss practice again today as both continue to go through the stages of the team’s concussion recovery program. Neither had passed his imPACT test, although Reid said Vick had taken one earlier in the morning and the team is still awaiting results.
Also missing practice today is safety Kurt Coleman, who sustained a sternum contusion in Sunday night’s 38-33 loss to Dallas. Colt Anderson has leapfrogged over David Sims on the depth chart and will take Coleman’s place on the first team defense.
Reid has already said Vick would be the backup quarterback behind Nick Foles when he’s medically cleared to play. Reid was asked if McCoy would definitely play if he returns before the end of the season.
“There’s a chance,” Reid said.
Rookie halfback Bryce Brown has rushed for 347 yards on 43 carries in his two starts -- an average of 8.0 yards per carry -- and scored four rushing touchdowns.
Reid said head trainer Rick Burkholder would update the media again Friday if McCoy isn’t back to practice by then.
