Can't believe I'm excited to see Colt Anderson play. I guess David Sims couldn't out play Anderson in practice. Very disappointing after his good pre-season and the fact we traded for him. Maybe Sims isn't a practice guy, maybe he just lights up on gameday. There are a lot of players like that but he has to play in order to find out if he can play..

David sims actually improved a bit during the NO game. I want to see him a lot over Anderson and coleman.

Maybe it's for the fans' benefit to give us someone new to boo?
After so many car crashes, a plane wreck grows more appealing.

Agree. Colt should get a contract extension, but he shouldn't even be listed as a Safety. He's a pure Gunner, and one of the best in the league, but that's it. I was hoping he'd turn into the next Mikell, but it looks like that ain't happening.

I like Colt....He finally got back into the line up and is doing good on special teams.
Whether he is good at safety remains to be seen.

Guess you didnt see how poor Colt was against Detroit.
I say at this point let the special teamer be a special teamer. He's good at that, as far as Sims he wasnt that bad against NO. He did give up some catches to Graham but wasnt grossly out of position like Coleman and Allen always are. Even if he does suck he still deserves more of a shot than Colt because we traded for him. We at least know what we have with Colt. A high school level safety and an NFL level special teamer.

Dude is an Ace on special teams, but hasn't shown anything on the field as a safety. I would rather see sims again or Phillip Thomas called up from the Practice squad (if he's still there)
But Hopefully I'm wrong and Colt performs better with days of preparation before the game, something he didn't have before his last start. He's demonstrated that he can take good pursuit angles, Tackle properly and will actually hit somebody...traits that have been lacking in damn near every single member of our secondary this year.
