Please everyone, take a look at this coaching resume.

Sorry all the Reid haters, but the coach you see before you today isn't the guy that came here 14 years ago.  That guy just brought a string of good years to this city the likes of which it never saw in pro football.  His coaching staff and front office have been poached pretty good through the years.  And 14 years of running an organization and dysfunctional family can take its toll on anyone.

He gave us a lot more good than bad.  He's not giving up even though we're in free fall.  I'm going to miss those good Reid years and I really respect what the guy has done.

Sorry to the Reid haters? You're making the point for firing Reid.

I too can appreciate Reid for what he did while here, 5 nfc championship games is no small feat, ive been a reid supporter for a long time but i think its best for him and the franchise if he moved on, seems stale.

Took advantage of a weak NFC (particulary NFC East).  Once the NFC caught up with him, he has been outcoached more often than not.  The last 8 years, he is barely over .500.  Caution me about going back to the Rich Kotite/Ray Rhodes years?  What do you call 3-9?

In all fairness to Ray Rhodes: the Eags will have to lose-out to equal his 3 - 13. But yeah, we're clearly headed in that direction. Said another way, if the Eags go 4 - 12 or 5 - 11 it's not much better than Rhodes record. If the D can suddenly awake and play like they were billed they might have a shot at 7 - 9. WHOO-HOO.

14 years with the same team and no championships is the only record that matters.  he got to cycle thru his "5-year superbowl plan" nearly 3 times and came up empty.  BFD

His record for the last 4 years is worse than Kotite's 4 years here and he's getting close to Rhodes.  Sorry but he's had his chance and he's failed and he has nothing and no one to blame except his own stubborness and arrogance.  He lost it in 05 and has gone down hill ever since with a 1 year exception.  He should have been fired long ago.

It's kind of sad that our "best coach ever" is overshadowed by our closest rival winning two Super Bowls (so far) during a shorter coaching tenure while we have nothing.

Reid's career has had 3 different stages.  He's been living off the success of the first phase the rest of his career.  The division titles, 4 of his 5 NFCCG appearances and winning regular season games against a weak NFC (but not having a good record against playoff teams) gave him padded stats in stage 1 but since then his records were bad.

In the 4 seasons after the Superbowl, his records were actually worse than Kotite's records that got him fired.

In the last 4 seasons, he currently has the exact same record as Kotite's 4 years.

So the last 8 seasons have been mediocre or worse.  The Andy Reid that everyone defends is in the past.  The Andy Reid we have now is ineffective and no longer has the accolades in the last 8 seasons.

It was time to go a long time ago.  I do appreciate what he did up to 2004. He had his run and didn't win the Superbowl but gave us some competitive winning football.  That's been on the decline though, and now the team is an embarrassment.

Agree. I'm all over that. As long as we're out of it we may as well  SUCK  as bad as we can be for a better draft pick. Think we'll draft an OL or a S first? I'd say OL but we need both.

And now we get to play on & potentially be embarrassed on National TV again against the Bungles. Oh joy.

The guy took the Eagles to the playoffs with multiple QBs.  He won a lot of games.  My guess is that he'll win a lot of games for the next team he coaches.
