This is what it sounds like when your season is over and there is no hope. Sometimes it's better to be quiet and let your performance speak for itself.
"We have to run our offense," he said. "You can look at statistics all you want, but the big thing is, for any offense, to go out there and execute our plays, if that%u2019s running or throwing. We%u2019ll have to do both throughout the game successfully to put points on the board and give us a chance to win."
Sure, wins are still important. This is the NFL, after all. But for the Eagles, and especially the young players, the end of the 2012 season is about more than the numbers. It%u2019s about pride, and it%u2019s about living up to the standards they set for themselves as Eagles.
In a post game interview with RG3 after they had beaten the Giants 17-16 last week, he said it's the wins that count not the statistics. They are trying to get in the play-offs.
Just sayin

Hey Dave, are Maclin's numbers pointing toward not re-signing him or not the amount of money he would accept? Does the fact that he has not really had the right Qb to completely understand the nuances of the WCO hurt him?

If Foles is the starting QB next year the Eagles have to build the team around his style of playing.
If MV7 is the starting QB next year the Eagles have to build around his style of playing.
Eagles WON't have success trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. If MV7 isn't going to be here let him go to a team that suits his style and he will flourish.
Can you imagine MV7 playing against the Eagles? He would eatup the current defence.

This kid is mature beyond his years, he's going to be ok, and I believe develope into a very good QB as time goes forward..The fact that it doesen't seem too big a stage for him is very important to having success.
He may not be considered a rookie but no one can expect him to not continue to have some growing pains.
Where is this Napolean Dynomite reference comming from regarding Foles? Is it a cartoon or movie character ?
