Let me put your mind at ease.
He will not be back. Andy Reid will no longer be the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. He may be here in some capacity (extreme long shot), but it won't be as head coach.
These jokers over there need to get you to the site. They do not care about their content, obviously. They just want a headline that generates hits. Stop acting like a bunch of mindless sheep and stop running with every silly idea they express over there.
I know some of you think you can run over there, read something real quick and come over here and regurgitate it like it's your own and think you're smart. Guess what, you're not. You're part of the problem.

Sorry, but this isn't a place where agrees 100%. That would be boring. Much more run pointing and laughing at the stupidity of others, especially when it comes to them being ok with Andy-15.
Bwahahahahahahaha, morons.
There, I feel better already.

Personally for me ( out of no annimosity or disrespect to Andy ) I think it is time for a change. Both for the teams sake and for Andy's.
I think he is burned out. Even though he would never admit to being such. But who can blame him after 14 yrs of putting up with this media and fan base...always wanting another pd of his flesh.

The improvement on 8-8 is obviously out of the window and Lurie wouldn't be viewed as acting hastily.
Give Andy the time he should have spent with his family when his son died. Get him away from this disaster. Let him go home and think about his next move.
I've said it before, there are a number of ways for the Eagles to save a lot of face by letting Andy go now. It's best for everyone all around the way I see it, including the fans.

But for real... I just have this feeling that we are going to be in for a huge shock at the end of the season. It started with the removal of Banner and Howie will follow at the end of this season. AR will be re take his role as unchallenged VP of football operations, or as the OP pointed out he might be promoted. But at the end of the day, I just have a hard time getting my hopes up for anything involving the Eagles right now. After 24 years I have officially come to understand that whatever we really would like to see the team do, they will do something else. Of course that will almost always be followed by the regular Eagles are great, Andy is great, we are the gold standard crap attempting to sugar coat it for us.

It is not pretty now, people will go ape-ish if Andy comes back as we do not have a winnig record. I mean, now times 1000. The "Andy coming back is ok with me" folks are somehow not grasping this likely outcome.

An article gets run that Philly isn't a desirable place to coach and the sheep are running with it.
Why? Philadelphia is not the only team these coaches interviewed or met with. Why is it all Philly's fault that these jokers didn't have the balls to make the leap or were just getting some free trips and meals out of the thing?
You morons do realize the top coaching candidates are in the playoffs, right? The college coaches weren't necessarily top candidates, they were just the most convenient interviews to get out of the way now. Think for crying out loud. Think for yourself, the rest of us read the articles and know you're just regurgitating their foolishness.
