Coaching staff- first things first Andy is gone and there's a guarentee other coaches will be gone.

Head coach candidates-

Jon Gruden- Super Bowl coach who is a motivator and a clear winner who wouldn't be a risk.

Chip Kelly- Oregons head coach who's almost gone already. He is more of an offensive man which could maximize the Eagles offensive talents but would leave a void in the defense.

Brian Kelly- Head coach of Notre Dame, is not really talked about yet but is really an under the radar coach. He has nothing but successful getting a team not many believed in to that championship and also his tenure at Cinncinatti where he turned that program around.

Head Coach:
Jon Gruden. He is the most qualified coach in that list and is not risky. He is a proven winner and defensive guru which the eagles need. He clearly wants to return because he has been talking with Oakland but i think he takes his friend Andy Reids job and helps turn them around.

Offensive Coordinator:
Jay Gruden: First big thing Jon does is steal his brother from the Bengals. Jay could be in the talks as a possible head coach candidate but I can see him following his brother.

Defensive Coordinator:

Ron Rivera- I would love to see him as our next DC. He coached the Bears D before going to the Panthers. Ron is a good coordinator who didn't make it as a HC.

Now for the player moves we make. First I think over 5 trades is insane and amazingly unrealistic, 1 or 2 is normal. Even though the Eagles want to get a new look that many trades is crazy. That being said.......

Cuts:
QB Michael Vick- This should be expected. The Eagles clearly are moving forward and a 17 million trainwreck on the field just can't stay, especially with his age.
DE Jason Babin- This clearly already happened and for the fact that he was old, had a huge contract, and was not performing.
DT Mike Patterson- Heres my surprise cut. He is getting old and is having trouble staying on the field. We get rid of his contract and injury problems.
OT Demetress Bell- $9.6 million reasons he should get cut, just terrible. Would love to trade him but nobody would want him.
WR Jason Avant-Another surprise cut but he has had a quiet year and is old with a 2million contract.

Trades:
DT Cullen Jenkins-He was very good last year, but with his production going down and his salary at $5.5 million, he needs a new deal or to be trade him. Trade him to a contender aka the Falcons or Broncos. I think they can trade Cullen Jenkins + a 6th round pick + a 2014 5th round pick for the Falcons 3rd.

Renegotiations:
CB Nnamdi Asomugha- Clearly isn't what we thought he was, but the Eagles don't have a corner to replace him so he needs to be restructured unless someone else pops up.

Resign:
CB DRC- Although he hasn't finished strong, the Eagles don't have many other options. He had a pretty damn good start to his season too. 3 years 12million.
LB Akeem Jordan- He is starting but wont be for long. A decent LB that can be used for many purposes. 4 years 4million.
LS Jon Dorenbos- A fan favorite Eagle. No reason for him not to stay. 1 year 550k.
G Jake Scott- A veteran backup who is doing good right now and the Eagles will need to keep around a few vets. 1 year 2 million. 1year 1 million.
DE Daryl Tapp-Has had a quiet season but I think the Eagles still want him back for a minimum deal.

Sign:
OT Jake Long- He is one of the best lineman in the league and is still young. I feel like the Eagles will go all in for him instead of getting an OT in the top of the draft. He is coming off a season ending injury and its been heard that the Dolphins will let him go into free agency. This could also let todd return to his natural postion which would be a huge bonus. 5 years 64 million.
- Alternate names people should watch out for. Ryan Clady of the Broncos, Jermon Bushrod of the Saints, Andre Smith Of the bengals. All are strong possibilities at OT
S Jarius Byrd- The Eagles have a lot of work to do in the secondary and are not afraid to spend. This would be huge for them and would greatly improve their secondary. 5 years 40 million.
  - Alternates: Kenny Philips of the NYG and Laron Landry of the NYJ.
DT Terrance Knighton- A under the radar run stopper that the Eagles could use. This would be a nice addition to a team who needs a gritty guy. 4 years 15 million
CB Sam Shields-Had an amazing rookie campaign, the best is his 2010 NFC Defensive player. Now he is being forgotten about after his troubles. I think he should get a second chance and with a year behind Nnamdi he might be a real good player that comes cheap. 3 years 12 million

Other names that would be great additions to the Eagles depending on their draft.
WR Greg Jennings
WR Dwayne Bowe
CB Jason Mccourty
DT Jason Jones
OLB Erin Henderson
DT Glenn Dorsey

The draft:
  Round 1
5. LB Manti Teo-  He is probably the best player in college football right now. The best part about him is his heart. He is the heart and soul of the Notre Dame team that is now in the championship. With Demeco Ryans only getting older he needs a back up, and Teo could be it after a few years and the strongside. Most analysts think he doesnt have the athletic ability but he is an improved version of Luke Kuechly last year, a smart player but Teo has much more heart and the leader the Eagles need

      Round 2
37. WR Justin Hunter- He is 6'4 and is a very fast player. He electrified college football and will probably rise. Although he could make it here due to the number of receivers that have good potential here. I think he can be a legitimate #1 in this league and would love the Eagles to pick him up.

      Round 3
69. OT D.J. Fluker- Part of one of the best olines in college history. He is a very good player and very gritty which the Eagles need. This would be an incredible pick up here and would really help their line moving forward as a backup/ replacement to Peters.
90. DE William Gholston- Before the year he was suppose to be in the runnings for defensive player of the year in college football. He had a quiet year but is still a very good player and is a leader in the locker room. This would be another great pick for the Eagles.
     Round 4
SS Philip Thomas- Back last year all Eagles fans thought this guy was on the team and now is their chance to get the real and good Philip Thomas.
     Round 5
CB Tryrann Mathieu- A true ballhawk that couldve been a 1st rounder this year had he stayed in college. He can play all over the field and could possibly help this team going forward.
     Round 7
OG Blaize Folts- I am not sure if it is because of his name but i have seen him mocked to the Eagles a few times now. He could be a diamond in the rough as olineman often times are.

Some other players to keep your eye on are OT Luke Jockel, FS Eric Reid, FS T.J. Mcdonald, WR Robert Woods and CB David Amerson. This is my first mock and I am not that great at these but I feel like this would bring the most out of us while being close to realistic. Let me know what you think!

I must have missed the part of John Gruden's career where he became a defensive guru.  I was under the impression that when not a head coach, he was also coachiong on the offensive side.

Amazing draft but unfortunately your gonna have to give up a 2-3rd round pick to get Sam shields as he is a RFA and not a regular FA

Thank you and I just found that out. Hopefully they will put a 4th on him that seems more reasonable maybe the Eagles get something out if Bell if someone sees potential or Avant maybe

If you're firing Reid you're not doing so just to do so!  Firing Reid means you think there's a better option out there!  THERE ISN'T!!

What exactly has Gruden done outside of winning a Super Bowl with Dungy's team and then watching them fall apart?  If he was a great coach don't you think he'd have another job by now?

He's been offered a few times by the Raiders, Tennessee and I think the Bucs last year. I always loved Andy but coaches overstay their time and their speeches and pep talks get old and frankly people lose interest in playing for them.

Gruden is clearly better seeing as he has a ring not to mention it was the first year he was in Tampa. Andy and the rest of the grew are gone as sad as it is its true and it's something that needs to happen.

Bill Cower will be the best option in my mind. He is a very good coach but I do not see him returning at all.

A) Jon Gruden doesn't have another HC job at the moment because of choice - the moment he tells his agent he wants to coach again he would have interviews for every vacancy.
B) Jon did with Dungy's team what Dungy couldn't - AND don't forget that Jon beat the team he built (Oakland) in that Superbowl. The demise of Tampa Bay after that Superbowl was the fact they gave up 2002 + 2003 first round picks and 2002 + 2004 second round picks (plus $8mil) to get Gruden and Bruce Allen replaced Rich McKay as GM.

To the OP -

Cutting players like Mike Vick for cap purposes and to go in another direction is one thing. However Mike Patterson and Jason Avant? No - these 2 are brought to camp and will win roster spots.

Trading Cullen Jenkins? Having Jenkins on your roster grossly outweighs any potential gain in a trade. Not likely that Jake Long makes it to FA - Miami will either resign him or franchise him. I know that puts a wrench in your draft plans. Remember you have the cap to consider as well - Jake Long will cost you - You already have alot invested in Peters - better to draft OT Luke Joeckel - or maybe trade back a little for OT Matthews/ Lewan.

OC would be a lateral move for Jay Gruden - unless his contract is up there is no reason for the Bengals to just let him join his brother in Philly. Ron Rivera hasn't been fired yet.

I can understand your want to keep Jason Avant, but I think Mike Patterson is done with football. He is in the hospital again and he is starting to get old so you have to watch his health. It just is at a point where he can't play anymore. I think Avant should go in favor of a tall receiver, Maclin and Desean can be taught slot.

Cullen Jenkins can go in favor of a younger Terrance Knighton. There were people who though Jenkins might be gone midseason or even last year and I think this offseason he can go. I also read how Miami will likely let Long test free agency because his game has declined a little and he was out this year. Also because if they franchise tag him that cap hit would be huge.
